went to the crapper after Kevin got kicked out. Yeah, I hate Chandler. Now they've become just another Breaking Benjamin knock-off whereas Kevin had an extremely amazing voice. Not to mention he's one of the best lyricists ever, imo.

Painted and Beg are my favorite songs from each album; Beg (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lWQpq91gAo) introduced me to them and the level of ethereal goes off the charts. Painted (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXg9gDyaAWY), however, has to be the most epic display of a 10 minute song/album ending I have ever heard. It's too bad the band never made a music video of this masterpiece, though I've thought about making one myself.

I notice this band isn't talked about very much on AP, and I always wondered why. They were absolutely phenomenal for their first two albums. Band drama and ego fights suck. =(

Def not an ap.net kind of band, but I did really like The Melody Album. It helped me through a rough patch. Pursuit was a good listen or two but I had totally forgotten about them until I checked out the new singer. Not my cup of tea.

Not a lot of replayability with this band, imho.

I actually loved the first two albums in my junior year of high school. It is radio rock done right. Unique, but not terrible, vocals. However, the new singer is terrible. He tries way too hard to sound like the other dude.

In case you didn't know, the original singer has his own band now. I forgot what it's called, but I heard a song or two from them a while ago. Not too bad.

It's called Parabelle. I had the pleasure of pre-ordering their dual album and I got a signed copy. Kevin's also working on a solo album and I chatted with him personally on AIM. He was nice enough to give me one of his songs. Really cool guy. I remember when all the drama went down, Parker (guitar) and Davis (drummer) were jerks to anyone asking why Kevin got kicked out. They even started insulting their own fans. As far as I'm concerned, that's where their true colors showed. Kevin might have had his egotistical moments but it became clear to me that Parker and Davis were the same way and worse, and they didn't give a crap about their fans to boot. I can't be sure about the other two members, Pitter (bass) and Vlad (guitar), but since Pitter and Kevin knew each other pre-Evans Blue I have a feeling that Pitter was the only one who didn't vote Kevin out. So it was 3-2 against Kevin. =(

Indeed. Ego drama is the worst kind of drama, too. Someone's always gotta be a selfish jerk. If they cared at all about what their fans thought they would have set aside their differences.

Other demos to look up is a B-side from The Pursuit dubbed "She Fell", which can be heard here, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnNhYMJt6tI) and there's 3 demos from before The Melody, which are Black Hole, Starlight, and Saturnalia, which the downloads seem to be impossible to find. I figured I would share my knowledge with other people who love Evans Blue!

As far as I know, there isn't, and I checked iTunes and Amazon and a bunch of legal downloading sites before I gave up and torrented it. Besides, I bought The Pursuit twice, once from Canada so I could get the acoustic album bonus, so I figured they owed me one haha.

Haha I totally agree, I think "exclusive" tracks are so ridiculously stupid. I have a really high quality version thats safe and all, inbox me your email and I'll email it to you. It's one of my favorite songs, not gonna lie haha.
