I dont see them selling more than dashboard confessional did in their first week of Dusk and Summer sales.

If I were Mr. Rogers or Jerry Springer and I had a "Final Thought for the Day" that would be intended as meaningful even though I knew it'd get poked fun at I'd say this - You know it doesn't really matter if you hate a band or love them. Whenever someone responds in any way whatsoever to news of a band, you give them credibility as an "attention-getter" and labels eat that shit up for a mid-day snack (i'd say breakfast but that's a little cliche - and mid-day snack coincides better with the hobby of surfing on the web unless you're looking for porn, which you may stereotypically do at night). The fact remains that Brand New's album will be coming out, unless we hear otherwise by the high and mighty news makers, the band themselves. So take note, if you want to see them fail - ignore the hell out of them (or give them attention [negative or positive] and watch them crash and burn - and thats if its a sure thing but that can't be guaranteed right now as some sources have raved about it). Since they got all this attention already, why let the good people down? As far as cosmic conspiracies, and the eternal and internal battles of heaven and hell and angels and demons go - it's very interesting to think that if a band hasn't released any information yet that it would be fun to assume that the album is simply self-titled "Brand New - Brand New" Whew! I'm psyched. Also, I like the idea of inside-people hiding in Absolutepunk.net as 16 y/o girls. That's hilarious. I don't think Dusk & Summer "sucked" by any means. Just because it wasnt a complete masterpiece like we are used to from Chris doesnt mean that it sucked:)

I enjoy about 6-7 of the tracks a lot on that album..but I think they could have done better...but seeing the stuff live is great

heey everyone...new news finally from the actual brand new site from the manager himself..according to him/her, the street team interview which apparentally answers "alot" of our questions as well as the release date, album name, and even the fall tour dates are going to be up by the end of this week if not the first week of september..so. hopefully finally everything will be completely settled and we can have this frickin brand new record that ive personally been waiting for since i became a freshman in high school..and guess what..im in college now so its been that long for me..haha
