I'll be interviewing The Sugi Tap (http://www.myspace.com/thesugitap) this week. You may remember a couple of their members, Tony and Max, as former members of Eve 6. If you have any questions for them, please post them in the replies.

I hadn't heard of this band until now, but I like what I've heard so far. Thanks, Caleb. :)

God I miss Eve 6 so much. Ask them if they'll ever play those songs again...

The climate of music and the music industry is obviously very different today when compared with Eve 6's heyday... how do you guys feel about coming into the world of music today as opposed to when you started as Eleventeen years ago? Are there any new up and coming bands that you guys recommend?

How did eve 6 end, I never heard of an actual breakup and what happen.

I'd like to know if The Sugi Tap's sound will be that of what the two demos sound like.
It's All In Your Head had a more somber, reflective style about it. Lyrically, at least. As opposed to the more fast, upbeat, pop-rock stylings of the first two CDs.
Just your typical, "what kind of sound can we expect?" type of question. If they want to expand on that, that's cool. I'm not a good interviewer, so I don't know how to phrase the question.

The record label folded, It's All In Your Head didn't go over so well, so it just got to be that time to end things.
Unless, there's some scandalous behind the scenes stuff. . .

Where does Max get his lyrical inspiration? His metaphors were often mindblowing.
Does Max have any interesting stories about the stories behind Eve 6 songs?

Eve 6 was the first band I was ever a fan of. Their debut, along with Third Eye Blind's, are what got me into music to begin with. Everyone's questions are things I would have asked already, but I'd be grateful if you'd throw this one out there...
What will be the tone of Max's lyrics for "The Sugi Tap?". Will they be clever and creative as, er, his past work, or is there some new element or diction he plans to interwine with his creativity? Thanks!

Are they going to do any shows with Controlling the Famous (Max's brothers' band)? Are they still friends w/ Leonardo DiCaprio? I don't know, I guess I'd also be curious to know what kind of financial position they're in...if they were able to make/keep any money earned from Eve 6?
