Do you wish All Time Low would return to the The Three Words To Remember in Dealing With The End, The Party Scene, and Put Up or Shut Up days?

Either way they should go away.

Whatever they do, many teenage girls will like it. It doesn't matter any way to me, because I like all of their albums.

I feel like when The Party Scene, Put Up or Shut Up, and So Wrong, It's Right were out the song had more meaning and we not as poppy as NP. For example, circles. That is the greatest song ever, yet they won't play it.

They haven't changed that much.
Basically the production value is the only thing that is different.
And they were never anything special.

I love three of their songs. The rest don't appeal to me whatsoever.

While my favorite songs are from those days (maybe nostalgia?), I still like the music they make today. They're still better than 95% of the scene pop bands out today.

Yes. Please. Even I didn't enjoy NP that much... Well, I did to an extent, but I'd still pick even SWIR over it.

Well I didn't hate Nothing Personal.

Don't get me wrong though, I love all their albums, even Nothing Personal. I just like their first 2 EPs and 1st album better than the rest.
Here's an order of the albums imo.
1. The Three Words To Remember In Dealing With The End EP - one of my most played albums on my iPod
2. Put Up Or Shut Up EP/ The Party Scene (it's tied) - excellent
3. So Wrong, It's Right - great
4. Nothing Personal - good
I'd pay $10 to see them just play Put Up or Shut Up then walk off the stage

Or we could have voted "no" because they never left their roots. It's different asking if we want another PUOSU.

The only joke here is you. Christ, add a little bit of production to an album and you think they're charting new territory or something? They're every bit as pop punk as they were when they started.

Yes they should, even if i liked half of nothing personal i can feel they are starting to drift away from the Punk aspect of Pop punk and going more to the Pop side :-(

Sorry, you got me there;
I'm sure "Too Much" and "Walls" off of Nothing Personal would fit right in along side "Last Flight Home" or "Hit The Lights" off of The Three Words To Remember In Dealing With The End.

Oh! My apologies! 2 songs from their discography sound like pop! Fuck me sideways!
Continuing to argue with you is useless, because it's apparent that you have no idea what you're talking about.

2 Songs...Really? Yes I may have mentioned two but I could easily go on those were just to blatantly obvious examples (For More See: Hello Brooklyn, Stella, Break Your Little Heart ect.).
Oh, and what a surprise that those "2 songs from their discography" as you so elegantly put it are condensed into the same album, their latest I might add.
Whether you Enjoyed Nothing Personal or not, I couldn't care less, But to say it's still the same style as their older work is ridiculous.
Call it progression or regression, but don't be as blind as to ignore the change.

Your sweeping generalization makes you look incredibly ignorant. I'm sure that's what you were going for, though.
Coffee Shop Soundtrack is the best song this band has ever crafted. I see it a challenge to beat that. With that said, I don't notice any large changes in their sound. I enjoy everything they've ever done.

I really don't mind. I've always enjoyed their music
Seriously have never listened to one of their songs.

so you commented on the poll about ATL that you have never listened to their songs?
now that makes perfect sense!

I didn't vote. So yeah, it does.

Example of bands that can "return to their roots": Fall Out Boy, Thrice, the Starting Line
Bands that are still at their roots: All Time Low

I voted no... bands should evolve and change their sound... not making the same music for 20 years...
And its true that their sound its not that different.. just a little more synth pop or something

All 12-15 year old girls cry "NOO." Everyone else remembers PUOSU, and nods silently

04/26/10, 08:16 PM
Yes and No. They're great both ways. I love them back then like PUOSU for example, but I love NP just as well. They should find the right balance, but keep a little more to the older days for their next record which I hope to hear soon.
SunnyInPhilly
04/27/10, 08:52 AM
They really haven't changed that much. Every album isn't going to sound the same. PUOSU was their best work, but it's not because they're any different now. It's amazing how simply becoming famous automatically means a band has changed to some people.

Jasey Rae is one of my all time favorite songs. I miss those days. NP was good, but those were the good ol days

they should just stop. better yet, find doc brown, he can pick them up in the DeLorean, get that shit going to 88 mph and take them back to '06 or '07, whenever this band got started, and they can just go to college and get jobs and save future 15 year old kids from ever listening to this bullshit.

My favorite ATL songs are Coffee Shop, Break Out and Jasey Rae. But I've listened to their earliest stuff and I'm not as big on it. So I guess a qualified yes.

I've enjoyed NP, but I would love to see them go back to their older sound. Painting Flowers is a good sign of whats to come.
