Hey everyone,
It's considerably colder today in Seattle then it has been as of late. So with the change in weather comes an update!
We have been crazy at work writing our upcoming full-length. We have a few titles we're throwing around but probably nothing solid till all the songs are finished. It's gonna be a pretty diverse record for us, we're making alot of changes as people and musicians lately and it's working out perfectly... GET PUMPED haha.
T-T-Tour is coming up again FINALLY!!! We will be hitting the west coast for 10 days tentatively with babies Schoolyard Heroes, fellow Seattle punk-rock organization. If you haven't heard them check that shit out! Should be a great/intense tour everynight. We'll be showcasing much of our next upcoming record...
To bring it down a touch, we would like to address the boot-legging of our live shows... It's tough to address the situation because it's more of an understanding than a moral issue. We write songs and play new songs at shows to share them in a context, a moment if you will. And if Joe Schmoe from Fresno, CA feels like recording the new songs and putting them up on youtube or anything like that, it ripps everything out of context and destroys the idea of sharing intimately... Would you share your girlfriend/boyfriend? Would you be pissed if we did for you? Well there it is guys. We wanna play tons of new shit on these upcoming dates, but if you bootleg the shit out of them, we're gonna notice and we will not play the new songs till our record comes out...
So we leave it up to you and your conscience to decide to rip shit to the comp or not. We'll like you reguardless, but it's doing us a very great dishonor. And many other great bands.
We love you and can't wait to see you guys at Bumbershoot and the Hawthorne Theatre!

I think it's bullshit to complain about people wanting to see the new shit, especially if you're only playing it for half of the country. Come by Detroit and play the new songs and then maybe I won't feel bad about watching them all on youtube. I'd much prefer to see them actually play the songs but that isn't really a choice for me, now is it?

I could understand if they are dissapointed on say lackluster recordings of songs via point and shoot digital cameras. However they shouldn't mind if quality recordings surface. I don't know maybe I'm crazy but I love hearing good recorded shows and it makes me stoked for the record and seeing the band live.

I witnessed one of the nights where they broke up while playing.. It was bull shit only getting to see 4 songs before a drug induced fight happened onstage and they stormed off.

that sucks. when i saw them, the head on thom's amp broke and they only played four as well.
