Is an excellent band. Saw them open for Brand New, and picked up their EP and I have to say I like all of the songs on there.

They are brilliant.
I also saw them open for Brand New this summer.
Their lead singer seems to have the explosive, on-edge energy of Ian Curtis, where their sound just kicked my ass.

They should tour with bands like Cold War Kids and Two Gallants...I'd pay good money for that set-up.

Well, I don't think you can really fit their show in the category of the others.
I think all those bands have brilliant live sets...they all work in their own way...and the three of them together was a genius combonation.

the singers voice reminds me of the guy from Mewithoutyou.
when i saw them live they had absolutly no energy, and the crowd was bored, and couldn't wait for brand new.

That's probably because 3/4ths of a Brand New audience is moronic bro's who only want to start a push pit during brand new rather then listen to and/or respect the opening bands.

I just don't get how you can say a band has no energy when you're at a brand new show...I like brand new and all, but it's not exactly the most exciting live band you'll see.

when i saw brand new i was impressed by their performance, but the aforementioned frat boy douches that were killing the vibe the whole time really ruined the show for me. i like colour revolt and have liked them for a long time, and as i was enjoying their set, i couldn't help but be annoyed by the people behind me yelling "GET OFF THE STAGE!!" and "YOU SUCK!". the only positive comment from anyone that i heard from any of the morons was still incredibly off the mark: "wow they're not that bad...is this straylight run?"

color revoult is pretty unenergetic live, but i moderately enjoy their recorded stuff.
nobody was there to see them at the purple door festival.

i also saw this band open for brand new at tremont music hall in charlotte,nc and i have to say i absolutley loved them,they put on a good show,they were different i like different music,they werent like all the other bands out there they were trying something different and yes i wanted to see brand new more but they were a good band to open up for brand new,most of the crowd and my friends hated them but i loved them after the show i bought there ep and a tee and i love that shirt and the album its a very good band hope to see them again soon!

I didn't like them at first either. I also first heard them open for bn when they toured in June of last year. [I think I was just too anxious to see bn.] But after hearing them play with Dustin Kensrue, I was hooked. They are amazing.
