I've got this friend that's birthday happens to be September 3rd. She's into a lot of different styles and genres but her favorites are punk and ska. I need some good songs..
Some of her favorite bands include: Less Than Jake, Strike Anywhere, Ted Leo, The Black Keys, Patent Pending, Reel Big Fish, Elvis Costello
Anything will help me out. Thanks.

woo here's some ska brother:
the slackers - do you know
hepcat - beautiful
the toasters - devil and a 45
the pietasters - girl take it easy
the aggrolites - keep it cool
stubborn all-stars - tin spam
the beat - save it for later
prince buster - girl why don't you answer
bad manners - wooly bully
the dead 60's - riot radio (not really ska, but ska fans love them)
hope this helps mate
As far as ska/punk goes Operation Ivy is a must. No one else seems to really enjoy them but I think Voodoo Glow Skulls are a hell of a lot of fun. Catch 22 umm... yeah, ska isn't really my strong point music wise.
Edit: Oh yes and the Mad Caddies are a hell of a lot of fun. Oh, Mustard Plug, Skankin Pickle, Suicide Machines all they lean very heavily on the punk side.
