for some reason i always liked Donatello... however:

Leonardo - the leader, always looked up to and respected by the others
Raphael - the loose cannon, you didn't know what to expect, but he was reliable in tough situations
Michaelangelo - the goofy stoner-type turtle whose company was always appreciated

so you see, they're all pretty cool

raph was super emo. he was a loose cannon, had the whole "troubled" gimmick, and was the one tutrtle who stood out among the others. The other tutrtles were all goofballs- awesome, but they didnt have the mega intensity that raph had.

I figured Michaelangelo would be the leader, but when I was a kid, I always liked Leonardo the most. He was smart, he had his head on straight and he kept them together.

Michaelangelo was the wild, funny one. Raphael was the loose cannon. Donatello was the crafty one. And where does Leonardo fit into all of this? He was the leader, the architect. He always planned it all out in order to keep the four of them together, rather than fall apart which they were vulnerable of doing.

Splinter also had a hand in that, too, to be fair. "Haha, I made a funny!"
