I was looking at a consumber reports book recently....and BMWs aren't even really good cars. Neither are AUDIs. Toyota was actually rated higher in customer satisfaction

i've driven the db9 and the vantage, but never a vanquish. to me, they all basically look the same but the vantage is so much better than the db9. maybe because it's a six-speed. those paddle shifters piss me off, that's probably one of the reasons for my hatred of maseratis

BMW's are good cars. Toyota rates higher in customer satisfaction because they're the same company as Lexus, who isis #1 in the world for customer service. They're the same company. I'd take a BMW 7 series over a Toyota Avalon anyday.

I voted BMW but has anyone here every ridden in a Maybach? If you've never heard of one, check them out (http://www.maybachusa.com/). They only make one model and it's freakin' sweet (as it should be for the price!). 27 speakers in that bad boy. I used to work at a Mercedes dealership and we had a few. Not to mention the back seats are recliners. Sexy.

I've always wanted a VW Golf. I currently own a Honda Civic. Have owned a 240 SX (Nissan, my pride and joy for forever...that thing was...well, a quality car), and the person I bought the Honda off of (a friend's girlfriend) sold it to buy a Scion, which in turn, is quite the sexy car.

i love my mercedes benz, its super reliable and i've been rear ended a few times and escaped with just a few scratches where as the other person's honda civic got TOTALED.

You don't even know how to spell the name of the company. It's Volkswagen. Also check out the "Phaeton (http://config.vw.com/autodata/config/buildModel.asp?HT=&AppID=VCQ&model=phaeton&trim=1);" it's a luxury sedan that they make equipped with a W12 engine and basically all the features of a BMW 7-Series. Their luxury SUV, the "Touareg (http://config.vw.com/autodata/config/buildModel.asp?HT=&AppID=VCQ&model=touareg)" is quite nice as well. And for the price, the Jetta 2.0 Turbo is a sweet deal with excellent features. So it's not that hard to believe that a lot of people like these cars.

I agree, there are better manufacturers if you have unlimited money. Depending on one's style, of course, you can be swayed toward luxury vehicles or sports vehicles. Personally I do like Porsches but I'd rather drive a luxury sedan like a Mercedes-Benz AMG E63 (http://www.mbusa.com/models/main.do?modelCode=E63). That beast comes with a supercharged V8 engine (507 horsepower) that beats (some) Porsches in 0-60 time tests (4.3 seconds with an automatic!) AND you have enough room to fuck your girlfriend. Or, you could have one of everything.
