Being able to make out with easy girls. I would never fully do "it" for the obvious fact that they're easy.

Same here man, just sometimes the roll with it attitude doesn't work, especially as you get older. Heck I'm only three years older than you but seriously, just gotta be aware.
And I know I'm right :-) aha.
It's kinda weird, my girlfriend is like a dude (as in she has a bro sense of humour and everything, not that she has a penis and a jaw like a brick) and so are the girlfriends of most of the guys I hang round with. It's the best thing I find, maybe it's just me.

Sounds like you were dating a jerk previously. People like that piss me off. I try to be good to everyone but I especially make sure I'm good to my gf. So society says... but I wouldn't say we're girls. Just mature. Since it takes most guys up until their late 20's to grow out of that crap, if they ever will at all.
In other words:
1. man does not always equal d-bag
2. manliness and love are not mutually exclusive (sensitivity is a whole different thing though, I would say being perceptive to someone's feelings doesn't mean you're sensitive)

The absolute best part of being single is being lonely and seeing all those couples and feeling like shit. Oh my gosh thats so much fun. Thats about how I feel right now after just getting out of a 1.5 year relationship
I finally ended a very one sided on and off relationship that would have been 3 years in november (a while from now I know but whatever), we can be in the "shit sucks" club together.

Well it kinda sucks actually and I would prefer being in a relationship. Going to a lot of parties just leaves you feeling empty at one point.. after all, you will always come to an empty home.
But the best things is that I can make plans for my future without anyone holding me back. Like going to study abroad or just moving somewhere.

I love being single most of the time because I don't think I'd make a good girlfriend. I wouldn't want to be with them all the time and wouldn't want to feel obligated to text/call them everyday. I also like to do more "guy" things, and that turns a lot of guys off because they see me more as a friend. There are some times when I feel like I need someone, but that rarely happens. I think I watch way too many romance movies and its made me have ridiculously high standards for love.
Eyes open, I'm aware from here on out :-)
I wish I had a girlfriend like that, too many girls are just like "Eww you play sport" or "You listen to rock music"

I'm the type who isn't very happy being single, even though I've only had one "official girlfriend." We went out for over a year. Then she randomly breaks up with me about 4 weeks ago and tells me that she "thought she loved me" but now doesn't think she ever did. I realize that's a cop out excuse. She also said she doesn't believe teenagers can love. So now she's got a new boyfriend already. Either she does believe in love, or she just wants sex, which isn't the girl I knew.
So yes I still care, even though I hate her now, because she left me scarred and it still hurts to this day. I figured out I was practically lied to every day of our relationship.

ha no prob bro. I only pointed it out because it never fails to entertain me how many people will say that they don't care, yet by either what they say or do you can tell that they still care. Because caring enough about how shit went down, still is caring.
Anyway, yeah thats pretty crappy, sorry to hear about that. i wish i could give some advice but personally i tend to be able to get over people rather quickly, so i've never been stuck dwelling over a situation like that in the past. the way i look at it, if someone is going to neglect you, and essentially show that they don't care about you, why should you care about them? it might hurt but personally i find it much easier to look at it that way and be able to move on.

Oh, and never change doing all the "guy things" that sometimes makes you out to be a friend (not that I'm thinking you would anyways). There're probably a lot of guys that aren't looking for that, but I know thats exactly what I look for -- a girl who I have common interests with, if I can't be 'friends' with my gf, I quickly get bored and lose all interest

Sounds like you were dating a jerk previously. People like that piss me off. I try to be good to everyone but I especially make sure I'm good to my gf. I don't get the whole 'male dominance d-bag' persona/ality (and yes both apply here). Whenever I see people like that my respect for them immediately plummets.

I can't see myself in a floatplane...something about being in the air and then aiming to land in water on purpose doesn't sound like my idea of a fun time. I'll leave the fun up to you on that.
However, flying Bearskin is usually an adventure in itself. The pilots will fly through anything. My first time on one of those planes, there was a crazy snowstorm, and the other airlines cancelled their flights...not Bearskin! What are you, 16? You don't truly experience "the single life" until you're in your 20's and kind of in the bar scene. In high school "the single life" just means slutting around before dating another guy or girl a month later.

Any guy that is 18 - 24 and dates a 15 year old has zero class. And, liking guys that are older does not mean someone is suddenly mature. This thread is ridiculous, this is why 90% of the time I stick to reading the new posts and commenting. I think I'll go back to that.

What are you, 16? You don't truly experience "the single life" until you're in your 20's and kind of in the bar scene. In high school "the single life" just means slutting around before dating another guy or girl a month later.
Unless you just keep slutting around and never slow down for a guy or girl for a real relationship.
hahaha. Hey man. I've tamed a few dragons, even if they didn't end up staying with me in the end.
Right now I have a princess though, and I totally get what you're saying. ;-)
Wow. What a great guy. You're girlfriend would be flattered. I'm sure she's loafs you a ton. ;)

My statement holds valid. The single life when you're sixteen is a lot different than the traditional single life when you're in your 20s, have a steady job, maybe go to the bars or clubs on the weekends, swing, etc. I'm not saying I'm living it either. College bar life isn't the same. I'm not a bachelor because I'm nineteen and not in a steady relationship. Slutting around in high school is a bit classless anyway. And dating in high school isn't what relationships out of high school and college are like. So, this whole thread is slightly irrelevant. I probably thought the same thing as you in high school.

And I know D: He's awful, he has Mr Tickle arms for legs, big gangly man that he is. I can't believe he's stayed here so long
I'd say it's cos he's a product of the youth academy

I haven't stated my opinion yet, though (or at least I don't remember doing so).

Yeah, he's 'local' and a nice guy
we only got him to get to his brother, Sammie, but i've played against Sammie and he's awful, and that's the general consensus from everyone Ii know who has played football with him, I don't get it.

Another Periphery fan?!!! =O Sweet!!
Anyway, I disagree with that last part. They can be the same if you and your bf/gf are mature enough to handle it and make it last. Graduation can be an issue, but I feel like lots of couples make it an issue and break up over being apart when they can still figure something out. In the end it's all about commitment, no matter your age. I've met 13 year old kids who act as mature as happy married couples when they date, and by the same token I've met 40 year old adults (men and women) who use their genitals in place of their brains.
