I don't know why this time was different, but going through Court and Spark again, this time it clicked. There literally is no songwriter who sounds even a little bit like Joni, and that album has some brilliant dramatic moments. "The Same Situation" is probably my favorite on it now.

She's pretty good, I just love female vocalists/singer songwriters. The Kids Were All Right was an awful movie. Blue is pretty good and obligatory. OKay

Yes, non-ironically into that song. Although what, that was 2005? I think I was weening off Disney then, but that song is "hella good", googling that I learned they were 16/14 in that video and there now known as "78violet" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/78violet. more facts. those zach and cody twins are hella annoying, how about Prussian Blue? nazys. you know. ?. sisters.

I know it's cliche, but Blue is by far my favorite of hers. Poetic, introspective, honest...just a magnificent, gut-wrenching record in every sense, and I've never heard anything else like it. "Little Green" is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
