Just got my hands on this CD earlier today, really good, I'm glad to see he is finally coming into his own, and showing his true skills on the pen and the guitar.

One the page it describes the album as "soulful" and quite frankly that seems to be the perfect way to describe this gem, can't wait to unwrap the hard copy on 9/12.

I've never listened to John Mayer besides his crappy single (Your Body Is A Wonderland), but I gave this new album a listen earlier today and really loved it. It's so chill.

this album is going to be amazing. I'm also quite suprised only one negative comment on mayer so far haha but he's really 20 times better than most pop artist today.

I wasn't really a fan of some of his stuff like "Daughters" and "Your Body is a Wondeland" etc... but I respect him thought. The John Mayer Trio was amazing. Agree? Agreed.

PS - John Mayer is from my hometown, not that anyone cares or anything, but someone had to say it. I'm sorry if somebody else did, I must've missed it.

he was kidding you jag off... anyway, what did you guys think of the hendrix cover? i thought it was pretty solid. tough guy to cover for sure. he is such a great guitarist, i like his blues stuff a lot. i just wish he would stop playing all the lame pop songs and be a blues player.
