What Should I Call My Thesis?

I know this could easily go in the Musicians or Education forum, but I (for some reason) trust you guys for advice. I'm doing an Honors College senior thesis next year, and you're allowed to do anything you want as long as it's "something you've wanted to do in college but haven't had a chance to".

Soooo, I plan on spending the next year writing a rock/folk/country album and recording it at the School of Music's recording studio. I just need a title for the thesis that doesn't sound cheesy as crap. Right now there's "Writing, Recording, and Reflecting On a Modern American Album" sitting on the top of the page, and I hate it. Said proposal is due tomorrow. Smart-ass responses welcome as long as there's some serious ones in the mix too =) thanks guys!

Thesis titles are usually kinda lame sounding. Just figure out what you want it to be about, and just say it. Thus is the world of academic writing.

The title you have now is good enough. It's a little corny, but perfectly fitting for an honors thesis. Maybe you should put a word like "music" or "rock" in the title, so it's absolutely clear that you're talking about a music album ("recording" should give it away, but still seems a little vague for some reason.) Maybe you can say Writing, Recording, and Reflecting On a Rock and Roll Album." I know it's ten times cornier, just a suggestion. I think that the word "modern" is definitely implied and unnecessary. Not sure about "American"...

I wish I went to a college that let me record an album for a thesis haha. Good luck!

Anal: The Final Frontier and How I Got There
MY REAL NAME
Introduction:
For my Honors College senior project, I plan on writing and recording an original PORNO consisting of ANAL. Although I am not AN ANAL major, I have greatly enjoyed playing WITH MY ASS over the last seven years, and have been around ROUGH TOOSHIE POUNDING my entire life. EXPLORING THE COLON is something that I have wanted to do for quite some time, and I am very excited about the opportunity that this project presents. I plan to explore the processes of PITCHING and CATCHING, and to reflect on these throughout the experience using an Internet blog.
Objective:
The final product of this senior project will be a full-length ADULT FILM consisting of ten to fifteen HARDCORE ANAL SCENES (35 to 50 minutes). Although it is impossible to tell exactly what style the album will consist of until the writing process begins, due to my SEXUAL interests I expect it to display influences from alternative rock, folk, and country music (OH YOU KNOW IT). I will also have a record of my experiences via the blog I plan to create throughout the creation of the DISTENDED ANUS. At the conclusion of the project, I will incorporate all of these blog posts into a continuous hard copy, hopefully ranging in length from 30 to 60 pages. For my thesis presentation, I plan on presenting MY NEWFOUND LOVE OF ANAL in its entirety, but in a stripped down form using only BEADS. Also, I may create a slideshow consisting of short excerpts from blog posts, which would pertain to the POOL BOY I am BANGING at that point of the performance.
Methods:
In order to fulfill my objective of creating a FILM of high quality BOW CHICKA WOW WOW, I will constantly seek critiques of my work from a variety of sources. I will send demos of my work to my thesis director on a regular basis, with increasing frequency as the LOSING BOWEL CONTROL process nears completion. Also, I will use my brother, who has been BANGING FROM BEHIND for all of my life, as a source of advice and direction in P-PUSHIN IT REAL GOOD, especially lyrically. Although I am not planning to write an explicitly HETEROSEXUAL ADULT FILM, I expect his experience will be invaluable. Finally, after several SCENES have reached a performable level of completion, I will seek out “open YOUR BUTT CHEEKS nights” at local venues. This will help me get a better feel for which of the POSITIONS are of the highest quality, as well as prepare me for the live thesis presentation.
Timeline:
As creating a full REPERTOIRE OF SODOMY requires a large time commitment, I am setting several deadlines for myself prior to beginning the project to ensure that I do not fall behind. I plan to have five to seven BOOKS ON FUDGE-PACKING KAMA SUTRA written with ROUGH DRAFTS by the beginning of the Fall 2010 semester. By the beginning of 2011, I should have nine to twelve BUGGERINGS completed, as well as my first public SURPRISE BUTTSECKS. I plan to begin the final SOLUTION by February 2011, either using the School of Music’s recording facilities, or possibly another recording studio if another is available of comparable quality and a lower cost. I plan to present my defense in mid to late April of 2011, at an on campus location to be determined in the fall.
Budget:
I already have all of the materials needed for home BUTTSEX. Therefore, the primary expense for this project will be the booking of WILLING AND ABLE HOOKERS. I will be consulting Dr. Francis, as well as BROTHEL owners that my brother knows, in order to determine a time frame and price range for ANAL time. I will apply for an Honors College Senior Thesis Grant to help cover this cost.
