Bright Eyes had Letting Off the Happiness and Lifted... which were great and I'm Wide Awake... and Fevers and Mirrors which were decent.

Death Cab had The Photo Album, Transatlanticism, and We Have The Facts and We're Voting Yes, which were all three amazing, Something About Airplanes which was very good, and Plans which was okay.

Pretty easy choice.

I can relate to I'm Wide Awake's lyrics more, but I think Trans is better musically in every aspect. So yep, I'm just really biased.

The feeling I get when listening to Lua and Train Underwater is just plain awesome.

Nevertheless, still Bright Eyes. Haha.

I think Ben Gibbard is a much better singer than Conor Oberst, and I agree about the music. The thing is though I've always felt that Death Cab For Cutie is overrated lyrically. Every one in a while I hear something I really like, but Bright Eyes is consistently amazing with words.

I was only ever able to get into Plans and a little Transatlanticism
while for Bright Eyes I adore I'm Wide Awake, Lifted, and Cassadaga is one of my favorite albums of all time.

i really liked the flow of the album a lot, with the exception of pity and fear, which i felt was kind of a misstep. i enjoyed prety much every song.

Break the Sky is one of the most heavenly song I have ever heard. Haha.

And include DC4C's Narrow Stairs (which I actually really like) and that's what i'm arguing about.

Letting Off The Happiness is hands down one of my favourite albums ever.

Death Cab, no contest. I love their entire discography. I feel iffy about parts of Bright Eyes's discography. Although I would probably consider I'm Wide Awake, Its Morning to be in my top ten favorite albums of all time.

Bright Eyes is by far my favorite band. I like Death Cab, but a lot of their stuff is just kinda eh to me, no matter how much I try to get into it. I've loved everything I've heard from Bright Eyes.
