Eh, I listened to it and wasn't terribly thrilled. I think I am "over" them.

SS was their best work. PTAPL ... I wasn't having it. And with LO, I just continue to lose interest in this band.

I have to agree with the majority that Start Static is by far their highlight. I did enjoy the sound of Palm Trees but I think Lights Out tops it. "Do It Alone" is probably the worst song on the record, so judging by the single, I think this album is a step up into some different territory. I like it.

Do it Alone is such a catchy fucking song. Listen to it a few times. Tim's voice sounds different, yet still familiar. Its great. I love this album.

Their songs before Start Static were really really catchy and good. I remember when Start Static came out, I was disappointed that they finally realeased a major label cd with their worst songs...check out the old songs if you can.
Hated it at first, LOVE it now. Their most solid album to date imo, and one of the year's best pop-punk/rock albums.

I was so on the fence about the new single because I wasn't sure how it'd fit in with the context of the new album. But after hearing it all, I love it. What a great album.
listening now. enjoying it.
i dont get how people can like start static more than the last album. it was 100% solid. every song was catchy, but had some really unique melodies
