Do you know that if you even said "This country is fucked up," in certain areas of the world you'd be killed? The fact that you discount North Korea, Venezuela, Iran, Pakistan, pretty much any other country based on Islamic culture, China, and Cuba (among many others) is not only the pinnacle of ignorance towards global politics, but down right insulting to any member of Western Civilization.

Now, I'm no fan of the vehement consumerism that tends to hijack American culture, but I realize that America is one of the least restrictive countries in the world. Is it perfect? No, far from it. Is it even remotely as diabolical as other far more dictatorial countries? Absolutely not. So while one cannot uphold America or the UK as being the peak of civilized society, it's just obtuse to state that they're "the most fucked up countries in the world."
