People make fun of "emo guys" not because they listen to emo (they don't actually listen to emo blah blah fourfa blah blah), but because they (a) shop at hot topic (b) listen to bad music like Hawethorne Heights and (c) wear their hair stupidly.

You should make fun of people who do these things.

But don't do it by calling them gay, that's just ignant.
