seems almost like they were asked by nickelodeon to dumb down their humor so they could more specifically target children and not preteens/teenagers/some adults. such a shame because the fact that the show used to have humor for all age groups was a lot of what set it apart.

Shit, I barely hear about Spongebob anymore. All about iCarly or some other show that start recycled actors from past live action Nick shows.

I used to love watching Family Double Dare and more than anything I wanted my family to go on it and get to the end so I could slide down that paint slide into the giant thing of whipped cream.

My entire childhood was spent on those shows. I definitely miss having Nick GaS as a channel. It had so many good game shows early on just to leave about five shows on the same rotation in its last year or two.

i try not to think of pete and pete because i always tear up when i do.... i think die hard fans know what im talking about. it's by far, without a doubt, the most beautiful kids show of all time. It was the MUSIC! (this is a website about music) it was amazing...Polaris, REM...a perfect tone that set the mood for kids in the 90s were thinking....

- exploration - adventure - the abyss - being a kid in general.

damnitt...haha im tearing up....its a show that can never be duplicated and its just so sad knowing that itll never come back.

If I could bring back one old Nick show, it'd have to be Rugrats. I can't believe it's not even in syndication somewhere. I got so stoked when I saw a commercial last night advertising them showing the Rugats Movie on Sunday. At least they haven't forgotten about them.

This made me youtube a specific episode...a Christmas classic if I've ever seen one. Used to even have this special on VHS, haha.
