Thank you. Thats exactly my thoughts. I get afraid to trash badns on here sometimes cause I don't know who's paying and who's not. But I agree. Complete shit. And this is coming from someone who loves mindless pop punk

Ouch.
Anyways, I've never heard this band. I'll check them out later, right now I'm too busy loving the new Ben Kweller and John Mayer albums.

could not agree with you more. that high note he hits in the chorus is $$$$.
I knew this band was a joke when they sent a myspace bulletin a few months ago asking if anyone knew where to get weed in California.

I could be wrong, but there may be some sort of relation to Good Charlotte. I visited TSO's Myspace and in their promo photo, one of the dudes looks a lot like Chris (drums) from Good Charlotte.
Their band members list says Chris - Drums as well.

Yeah, he used to be in Good Charlotte.
I guess they're ok, probably gonna get huge.

Yeah it's the same dude, but he didn't even play drums on the album. They hired Josh Freese (from the Vandals) to play drums. Coincidentally, Josh Freese also played on Good Charlotte's "The Young And The Hopeless." Check out his discography (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Freese#Discography). He's played on way more albums than you would expect.

He wasn't on the album either. Actually he wasn't even in the video for "Death Said." Luke plays bass in the video.

I like this band. Their music isn't that bad and they put on a really good live show. Plus they are some pretty nice guys.

It is Chris, he's actually a really good drummer too. Its funny, cause when Chris quit GC everyone thought he'd jump to a band thats like completely different from GC, but honestly TSO really don't sound too different from GC, except maybe their a little more FOB in the chorus.

I got the cd in about June i think and it was great. Good cd and stuff. The are great live and don't bash them until you see them live. There are a lot of shitty live bands out there. I went to the CBGB Gallery stop on the Settings (www.myspace.com/settingsband) / Summer Obsession (www.myspace.com/thesummerobsession (http://www.myspace.com/thesummerobsession)) tour.

haha, nice, yeah i would say that their biggest problem is that they write really lame lyrics, but in when you look at their previous works (http://starttrouble.com/), this is actually quite a step up!

Really? I can understand where anyone would hear Simple Plan. They have a similar sound, and TSO's lead vocalist sounds a lot like Pierre, I think.
I don't know...I kinda like this band. They don't do anything incredibly new or original, but neither do a lot of pop-punk acts, and I find them fun to listen to. I won't say they are doing anything to stand apart, but hey, the music is fun to sing to so I can tolerate and enjoy.

Can't go wrong with Josh Freese I guess. It's kinda funny how Chris has joined bands soon after Josh Freese has played drums on their albums. Weird coincidence maybe? I read his discography. 2, 500+ albums...that's amazing.

Yeah, I was thinking about this today and I honestly think his voice sounds like the singer from Maxeen. Especially on the last song (This Is Where You Belong). I almost couldn't tell the difference. I think Pierre has more of a nasely voice than TSO's singer.
