I just bought "reconstruction site" on vinyl and it's great. what should I get next by them: reconstruction site on cd, left and leaving on cd, or left and leaving on vinyl?

get propagandhi's "less talk, more rock". It was John K. Samson's last album with the band, and it features him on vocals for two songs: The original version of the weakerthan's Anchorloess and another song called Gifts that is just incredible. Plus it has some of the best propagandhi tunes. One of the most essential punk records of all time.

you should probably buy everything the weakerthans did, all at once if that's possible. that and the bad religion singer's solo album and the early propaghandi.
it's all good.

get troubled hubble's "Making Beds In A Burning House" and The Mountain Goats "Sunset Tree"... very Weakerthans-ish music. And definitely Less Talk, More Rock.
And yea, get all the Weakerthans' albums. Its all gold. I sure hope they come out with a new one soon.

:D Weakerthans are nothing short of amazing, they have definately impacted my life with each near perfect album. Such a special band. So yes get it all.
i know this is an old thread but if you guys like weakerthans and propaghandi you should try and find the i spy collection cd, i'm pretty sure its out of print but if you can you should check it out, very early stuff from members of prop.
You can't go wrong with anything, but left and leaving has some of the best songs on it. . . plus Carlo Marx is write about "less talk more rock" . . . probably the best propagandhi album.
wrong on that note. "How To Clean Everything" is by far a better album. Though, anything Johnny K. has done is amazing.

I gotta say, Today's Empires has grown to be my favorite propagandhi album. Back to The Motor League and Fuck The Border rock my face clean off every time I listen to them.
