Cheers. Will play as soon as I get it. Does it live up to his solo/alk3 stuff? Im talking about Skiba of course.

such an excellent Cd. one of the best of the year, in my opinion.

FINALLY, someone agrees with me. It's such a solid release, Matt Skiba has such a beautiful way with words.

Favorite Tracks: Heather, Dead End Girl, Leave

Leave is up there for song of the year, at least for me.

Yeah, I'm glad you said something. You aren't the problem, just a good example, so take no offense.

Alkaline Trio fans everywhere are calling this bland. It kinda ticks me off just a bit, because everyone compares this to the sound of Alkaline Trio and finds out it's much more mellow and hates it. Look at Heavens as another band, with Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio singing.

This cd sounds a bit like Interpol, only more simple.

From the song I heard from the album, it sounds good.

It's nice, it's not Trio, but it's nice. I enjoy it and everything.

At first I kind of liked this CD, it sounds nice and everything, but then I got more into it, and started to not like it. Yes, I realize it's a simple CD, and there's not much you can do with two people in the band, but all the songs sound pretty repetitive to me.

I would have to say this is some of skiba's WORSE work lyrically.

Heather seems like a half-assed song, the last verse is just the first two thrown together, and I don't really like the lyrics about the phone part.

Dead End Girl is pretty bad, with all the times he says 'dead end'.

Watching has too much repetition, with all the 'sharpening knives' going on.

Revisited this album recently, major hit or miss for me but there were more hits than misses. Leave is one of Skiba's best.

The song Heather is so great, still listen to it over and over.

Sucks they didn't do more with the 'band'. I think a second release with some more "developed" songs could have been cool.
