Hey everyone - check out the following staff recommendations for this week:
Jason: I'm going with a J theme: John Mayer (http://www.johnmayer.com), Justin Timberlake (http://www.justintimberlake.com), and Jil Station (http://www.jilstation.com).
Steve: I recommend Goodbye Tomorrow (http://myspace.com/goodbyetomorrow) (Travis Bryant is amazing as ever), Saosin (http://myspace.com/saosin) (look for my review Monday), and watching Curb Your Enthusiasm (I want to hang out with Larry David).
Tony: I recommend Rory (http://www.myspace.com/rory). I'm really digging the new album.
Brandon A: I suggest listening to Bomb the Music Industry! (http://www.myspace.com/bombthemusicindustry), The Arrogant Sons of Bitches (http://www.myspace.com/arrogantsonsofbitches), and Five Iron Frenzy (http://www.fiveironfrenzy.com).
Drew: The new Saosin (http://www.saosin.com), Senses Fail (http://wwww.sensesfail.com), and Justin Timberlake albums are all awesome.
Jon F: The new A Static Lullaby (http://www.astaticlullaby.com) album is all that I've been listening to. Get stoked!
Jared: Owen (http://myspace.com/mybandowen) and Morrissey (http://www.myspace.com/morrissey).
Russ: Four bands with a steady pulse and one that flatlined a while ago, here (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=166457).
Melissa: I've spent the entire morning studying/doing homework/writing papers. For those of you like me, put a lil fun in your life. Listen to the Llama Song (http://gprime.net/flash.php/llamasong). (Yes I do know this is old, but it's FUNNY!)

Pete Yorn- Nightcrawler. I heard it late last night and i've already listened to it 3 times. It ropes you in and doesn't let go and I suggest that everyone buys it when it hits stores.
System of a Down. Good metal that doesn't sound like anything else. very fun to listen to.
Final Fantasy-He Poos Clouds. Final Fantasy is a band that is essentially an Arcade Fire side project with more violins. The CD is truly fantastic and I highly recommend everyone listen to it. Now it's #2 on my list.

It's not a side project. Owen just wrote a lot of string arrangements on The Arcade Fire's album. He was in The Hidden Cameras and Le Mouches before, though.
Owen Pallett Is amazing. He Poo's Clouds is amazing. ....Has A Good Home is amazing.

ha! when i was in junior high i was in a band called looking forward, minus the x's.
Seriously the new Justin Timberlake album is crazy. Timbaland does all the production on the album and it's probably the best production I've heard in a really long time. He is the mad scientist.

Timbaland also did all the production on the Nelly Furtado album (minus two songs) and it is amazing. He is damn good.
