2 totally different voices, Dallas Green is a much better/smoother singer imo...this wouldnt work.

I think that may be kinda cool, but I'm not sure; I'd have to hear them together.

What would be the point of having two similar singers on the same song?

because one is much better than the other. Johnny Craig doesn't have such a smooth voice without the studio, Dallas Green actually knows how to sing live. Dallas Green can do a collaboration with someone much more talented.

Can you defend this claim with something other than a bare assertion, opinion, or preference?

oh shut the fuck up. it wasn't satire. when anyone on here gets called out they say "i was being sarcastic" or "it was satire", which it wasn't. that isn't satire at all. and i was joking when i quoted you so there's no need to get defensive and say "oh it was satire".

I can assure, I was not being defensive at all, guy. I usually label someone as such when they start flaming, which is why I see this response as being ironic.

Thom Yorke is the greatest singer that ever lived. It's true because it's true, and I'll back this up by saying that he's the greatest singer that ever lived because it's true.

I was simply making an indirect point, there's no need to flame me bro. It's an opinion. If you're going keep asserting something as if it were a fact, then the burden of proof is on you. Otherwise it's just white noise.

i'm asserting nothing as fact now nor ever. i simply stated my opinion, which is what everyone else is doing. you want proof where there is no proof, just opinion.

My Thom Yorke example wasn't a response to you, pal. I asked my other buddy up there to back up his claim with something that wasn't an opinion. Well, he responded and according to him, Dallas Green is "better" than Jonny Craig, and it's a fact. Let him deal with that.

I would rather see Dallas Green and Brandon Boyd collaborate...theres 2 guys that actually know how to sing, with different style voices. Johnny Craig is not in the same league as these 2, you can say it's my opinion or whatever, but go see these 3 singers live...tell me which one sucks without the studio.

If it was up to me to pick someone to sing with Dallas, it probably wouldn't be Jonny but I bet they could make it work.

If I could pick anyone to sing with him, I'd pick a singer with a really unique voice like Matt Bellamy of Muse, simply because I bet two dudes as talented as them could come up with some crazy awesome music.

EDIT: I think Jonny Craig personally offended imthesheriffx in some way.

I think that would be pretty interesting. Really if anyone was doing a collaboration I would want to hear it.

Jonny really isn't that bad, and I don't think a guy who has Nirvana listed as one of their favorite bands should be talking a considerable amount of shit about him. It's not your sort of thing fella that's cool, but he's a good singer live or otherwise. Denying that just kind of makes you wrong.

They don't sound similar at all. I'd rather have Dallas Green do his thing in City and Colour and Alexis (guest spots with ETID work nicely too) and well I only like one song that Johnny Craig sang on.

If Dallas Green were to do a collaboration, there are many others that would be much more interesting (and better) to do so with than Johnny Craig.

It just wouldn't work. Vocal styles are too similar and I doubt they'd blend well creatively enough to actually produce good music.
