doubt it. i think it was exclusive, they might have left overs. if not grab some fabric spray paint, an exacto knife, and some paper and make your own. it's not that complicated of a design and it'll be cheaper that way.

they only have 2 full lengths. Keasbey Nights is the singers older songs remade.
I would go with Point/Counterpoint, Failing, Flailing, Would you be impressed, Somewhere in Between
Their new cd is all covers as well.

There are so many better Streetlight songs than WYBI and even Failing, Flailing too. Which is saying a lot considering they only have like 22 original songs anyway.
Whenever I reccommend Streetlight to someone I suggest Here's to Life, We Are The Few, Somewhere in the Between, and Receiving End of it All. You really can't go wrong though; the band is fucking incredible.
/edit- Wow, can't believe I forgot A Better Place, A Better Time. Definitely one of their best.

whoever posted all the streetlight recommendations in here, i appreciate. i'm a huge wonder years fan so i'll be going to at least 2+ dates on this (starland and nyc) but have never really listened to streetlight, so i'm looking forward to getting into their catalogue.
anyone else going to those shows? i'm always venturing to shows solo these days and it'd be nice to know some people there for once!

Know exactly how you feel. Alot of the time I go to shows and get in for free due to Interviewing bands and friends still won't go. Probably going to start giving away tickets/guestlist spots on my radioshow soon enough.
I think ill go catch the wonder years and take off before streetlight, Im not really into them. I hope wonder years will get a good set in seeing as how its only them and streetlight playing

do you think the NYC shows are going to sell out really fast, or can I buy my tix in like a month? I know CIS at Webster didn't sell out till day of, sooo.

Oh sweet, I just walked by the venue downtown in Portland, and it said Streetlight Manifesto + Supervillans + Guests, and I thought TWY canceled or something. I didn't realize that they weren't main support. Also surprised that this is the 3rd time they've been here this year.

Toronto show what up! Should be a fun time!
Going to assume TWY set will be something like:
My Last Semester
Washington Square Park
Logan Circle
Everything I Own Fits In This Backpack
When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong
Keystone State Dude-Core
Solo and Chewy
You're Not Salinger, Get Over It.
Maybe This Party Sucks or Bar Bands.
Apparently Mike Kennedy is back or did I read wrong?

kennedy is back. the drummer that originally replaced kennedy (steinborn? i don't even know) is now playing something called a "rhodes" for the band.
and i'm thinking it's a definite for "this party sucks" cause they have the "i don't need to pump my fist to look sweet" shirt.

i think they won't play When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong but play Won't Be Pathetic Forever instead. also, don't they usually save Washington Square Park for last? i think they did last time i saw them. either way, they'll have a good set. i wish they could switch with the supervillains so they could have a longer set, i really think TWY are bigger right now.

i saw The Supervillains last year with Reel Big Fish, they kinda remind me of RBF, they fooled around on stage a bit and whatnot. i mean they put on an ok show. my guess is that because it's a ska headline concert so they wanted to bring in the ska crowd. even though i love TWY, to be fair they are the odd band out so it does make sense.

Streetlight set guesses
Definitely:
We Will Fall Together
Somewhere In The Between
Would You Be Impressed?
Point/Counterpoint (most likely Point/Keasby/Counterpoint)
Linoleum or Hell or TPTPFTPPMTYWPOTIOYE
Here's To Life
Moment of Violence
Everything Went Numb
Hopefuls(what i would like to hear):
Failing Flailing
That'll Be The Day
We Are The Few
Supernothing
Watch It Crash
The Receiving End Of It All
A Better Place, A Better Time
What A Wicked Gang Are We
Such Great Heights
my guess will be that they'll learn a bunch of songs and make up the set list each night, they did that for warped last year.

Last nights show was unbelievable. I could not believe Streetlight's setlist.... I could see them 20 more times and I'd never get a setlist that good. I don't remember the order perfectly but here's a rudimentary setlist of what they did.
The Recieving End Of It All
Would You Be Impressed?
We Will Fall Together
Down Down Down to Mephisto's Cafe
We Are The Few
Somewhere In The Between
9mm and a Three Piece Suit
Moment of Silence/ Violence
A Better Place, A Better Time
Punk Rock Girl
The Big Sleep
Watch It Crash
Encore:
Linoleum
Sick and Sad
1234, 1234
I'm sure I missed a few, and the order is pretty messed up (serial positioning effect ugh). I CANNOT believe they played 3 Keasbey songs though. Usually you get Keasbey Nights and MAYBE -MAYBE- Sergio if you sacrificed a cow on an altar the day before. Before they started playing 9mm TK admitted that it had been years since they had played it live. I was in shock, my friend and I were so stunned to hear it. It's one of both of our favorites but I told him upfront to not expect anything off Keasbey. In the encore he got out his acoustic guitar and I thought he was going to do the medley he sometimes does, but instead we got the entirety of Linoleum and Sick and Sad. Sick and Sad was phenomenal, they slowed the tempo down a bit and altered the horns so it had this swingy, finale feel to it.... incredible. Then he started playing 1234,1234 and I nearly had a heart attack. I couldn't believe what an amazing show it was, and how perfect the playlist was. Sure there wasn't any Point/Counterpoint, but I had heard them play that twice already. I was so pleased.

No you're totally right, it was. I messed that up. I remember "ME AND MR DYLAN ON THE RIDE HOMMMEEEEE" being one of the last things I sung. I swear every single song in that encore made me feel like I couldn't sing or jump for another second, but every time the next song came on it gave me the energy to keep going. It was a fantastic encore.

Last nights show was unbelievable. I could not believe Streetlight's setlist.... I could see them 20 more times and I'd never get a setlist that good. I don't remember the order perfectly but here's a rudimentary setlist of what they did.
The Recieving End Of It All
Would You Be Impressed?
We Will Fall Together
Down Down Down to Mephisto's Cafe
We Are The Few
Somewhere In The Between
9mm and a Three Piece Suit
Moment of Silence/ Violence
A Better Place, A Better Time
Punk Rock Girl
The Big Sleep
Watch It Crash
Encore:
Linoleum
Sick and Sad
1234, 1234
i really like this set. it's really solid. has all my favorite stuff and some unexpected songs. if i get this set too i won't be disappointed P/C wasn't played

I really hope that TWY are getting a good crowd reaction on this tour. I know that they are doing it to gain exposure, but I'm afraid this may not be the right tour for them. I mean........no one has a setlist yet! Get with it and listen to some good music instead of Streetlight.

why would you say that? streetlight is amazing. Musically speaking, they are better than TWY, considering composition and all. and truthfully you can't compare them to streetlight because they're not even the same genre. just because no one posted a setlist doesn't mean that no one likes them.

I hadn't heard TWY before, but I enjoyed them (though three guitars made it difficult to hear the synth and the lead stuff). I particularly enjoyed when the singer called out that guy in the crowd for using gay as an insult.

regardless, one of the best shows i've ever been to. (if not the best). dan potthast is hilarious. i don't remember ever laughing that much during a set. the wonder years were fucking amazing. i was almost at the stage, stuck behind some girl. like i said, i got to scream a word into a microphone. awesome, two guys from the stage (maybe a merch guy or something?) stage dived during the wonder years set and then soupy stage dived during "washington square park." the supervillains were really surprising, i thought they were gonna suck, they put on a really good show. i wish the wonder years got the longer set, but a lot of people participated during the supervillains set. way more than i thought, and they were pretty funny. definitely potheads though. hahah. streetlight was simply amazing. the whole place was moving, the instruments were spot on. every solo was great. i don't think i've seen a better band live. all around amazing show. the encores were great. i left wanting nothing more. i also got a picture with soupy, pretty awesome. every person in every band was a stand up guy, none of them were assholes. which makes the show even more enjoyable.
if you were on the fence about going to this show, GO. i might be going up to the one in lancaster a month from now.
edit (again): soupy said during their set something along the lines of the wonder years have spent 10,000 dollars the past two or three weeks on vans. so try to support them by buying a shirt or two! the designs are pretty awesome.

Pretty bummed bar bands and everything i own arent on these sets, those are my favorite songs, im going to the anaheim date just to see TWY, if your out there soupy hear my pleas
We can't make Bar Bands happen this tour. We just don't have a long enough set unfortunately. I'd love to play it for you guys but the reality is that most of the kids at these shows are there to see streetlight and want us out of their fucking way haha. There is a chance we can do backpacks a few times on the tour though. I'll try to remember: Semester in LA, Backpacks in Anaheim. Got it. Will do my best.

If I had to put a genre on them, I guess melodic hardcore. if you like Brand New's last two albums or Transit, you'll prob. like CIS. Start with Is Dead and Trying To Describe You. and then go back to their older material, which sounds more punky I guess, but they don't play much from.

It seems like Soupy got this song spot on when writing it. It seems to describe a lot of peoples college experiences and have helped a lot of people. Unfortunately for me, the program I'm in is kind of long and I still have about 5 more years to go.
And yes, I really hope they do a tour like that. It would be absolutely amazing and if it didn;t come to Canada, I would drive anywhere to see that happen.

I know they didn't play A Better Place, A Better Time or We Are The Few which disappointed me, but they were so amazing, I didn't even realize until today.
Anyway, this was literally one of the best shows that I've EVER been to. Crowd was amazing, clapping to every Dan Potthast song, and we even started a few circle pits for him. Does anybody have a Dan Potthast set from last night? He was great, especially the last song.
Kids went crazy for TWY and even crazier for Streetlight. I wish there was another show close to here.

It was an awesome show last night in PA. The Wonder Years absolutely killed it. I screamed every lyric and was practically dead by the end of their set. They played My Last Semester, which was awesome. Streetlight was awesome too, and although I despise ska, they were really good and I sung along with most of the songs. After the show, I bought some Wonder Years merch: got a purple fist pump shirt, a white/tan shirt, the same shirt but in dark navy, and then a hoodie with lyrics to Bar Bands on the back, which was a steal. The hoodie was only 25$. So, I spent like 60 on TWY merch, but it was well worth it and all of the guys were awesome. Got all of them to sign the stuff, except for Soupy. Oh, really? Ha, I'm kidding. But yeah, everyone in the front/on the rail was not really into TWY.
Oh, really? It's a dark blue hoodie with the bird on the front and on the back with the words "The Wonder Years" making the body of the bird, it has a table design with a burning cigarette and an orange juice carton and other stuff, and it says "I don't know why I'm here / But I know who my friends are". I thought it was a great deal. Have they had these hoodies on any other stops?
They had it in Chicago, because I picked it up then.
