Are you talking about incorporating him into live versions of The Earth Sings... songs, or do you mean NEW new songs? I hadn't heard of them mentioning anything about the latter, and my heart just jumped!

I'd love to hear how Alex has kept busy since they disbanded. I remember reading that he was going back to school, but I was always curious about what he'd be studying and where he planned to go with it. Also, how's Brendan enjoying family life at home? The rest of the dudes have been pretty easy to keep up with since they've been so musically active, but it's awesome to hear they're even playing a show this year.

Alright guys here is what I found out from Alex yesterday.

1. He is a commuter student at UCONN studying to get his bachelors in biology.
2. He has no idea what is going on with the final show DVD. He did his part which was playing and hasnt heard much about it since, however it will come out one day.
3. The set at skatefest will be about 15 songs long and Casey will be incorporated in the new songs. Alex said this will make the show much easier. Also Brian will be doing the show as well so he said it should be interesting to see how everything works out. They have band practice later this week so theyll know more about how things will go for the show then.
4. He said he has no clue about the future and whether or not the band will make more songs. He said he would love to but he wants to do some of the other things in his life first. Also everyone is at such different places that he doesnt even know if it would be possible, who knows though.
5. Writing synapse was a pretty easy project. He said that Casey in the studio was like watching a madman at work. He was just so gifted lyrically and musically that he could see where the song was going before anyone else. He said it was one of the greatest experiences of his life.

All in all it was a great interview. I will try and find the audio recording of it sometime within the next week and post it up here. Alex was a great guy and I am so glad I got to meet him. He was extremely well spoken and it was a real pleasure to chill with him and be his first interview in the past 2 years. I highly suggest that if you live in the New England area that you should go to skatefest its going to be an epic time.

i've met them all too man many times and i know he is and it would never happen. i just suppose every day i saw him he had a bad day lol

im not talking shit or anything just seems like they all might be ready to get back together but he wants to finish school which is totally understandable just as brandon left to be a father. skatefest is in 5 days and i wanna go and hear them announce a cd, tour, getting back together anything lol so im just drawing up ridiculous scenario's in my head
