this the one they recorded with steve evetts? i heard they were in the studio not to long ago with him. anyway, im excited to hear some new material.

Brilliant, I just bought tickets to the Chicago show in November. Maybe they'll be willing to play songs off of anything but Is/Was a Real Boy this time.

Will it be a digital-only release, or will they also make hard copies available at shows or online?

I believe it's old songs redone -- Max mentioned in my interview with on PunkPressOnline.com that they re-recorded 2 old ones. I can't wait for this.

i'm not lying, the band only recorded those 2 songs and it is itunes only. They've been announcing it at shows for a while, still gonna be good until the full-length.

Also, has anyone else here seen "Hedwig and the Angry Inch?"

The guy who composed the music for the film, co-produced "Is A Real Boy" and you can definately tell the influence he had, from song structure to chord progression.

Why you complaining? iTunes is compatible with just about every computer and each song is only 99 cents. That's cheap if you ask me. It's also a lot cheaper on the band to release a digital release instead of pressing one. If the Ep is only going to consist of a few songs, a digital release makes more sense than pressing.

Don't get me wrong, I love pressed releases because I love artwork and liner notes and all that good stuff, but in this case it seems like a digital release works better.

I can understand you not liking digital releases though, they aren't as fun as pressed releases.

It will be coming out sometime in the next few months, hopefully sooner than later. It will probobly be a digital release maybe itunes maybe some other way. NO decisions have been made yet, obviously he will be part of the decison but belive me nothing is figured out yet. All the old school fans may may be bummed that you heard the songs before but belive me they sound AMAZING!

They should just re-record Baseball, Menora/Majora, & Junior Varsity and release it on j. Better recording quality, alot easier to find, and better vocal/intrumental work because of their growth/progession/experience. Oh and of course have it on hard copy(CD) AND digital.
