In October of last year, Krell started posting batches of his clouded tunes to his blog (http://howtodresswell.blogspot.com/). They're marked by his piercing voice, which bears a resemblance to Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, or even Justin Timberlake at his most fragile and falsetto-y.

Longtime fan here. I've been in to them since, like, May. Way back. Waaaay back.

So, I liked all the free EPs, but I thought the co-opted R&B sound filtered through lo-fi beats may be a bit disingenuous and would become grating soon. Fortunately, the more time I spend with the EPs, and now the full-length, the more sincere the tracks feel. It's not the novelty I thought it'd be. You Won't Need Me Where I'm Goin' is probably my favorite cut off Love Remains.

As much as I was anticipating it, I was expecting there to be more. The album feels a bit more empty then I'd like it to be. I also wish there were more original tracks. I need more time to delve into the material before I make my official statement.
