'06 Nintendo Fusion Tour- bust? [Archive]

Just wondering if it seems like this tour is a bust compared to last years to anyone else....

Have any shows even sold out yet? I think the whole tour sold out last year? Not sure.

What are everyone's thoughts? The line-up seems a lot weaker to me.

The only reason I'd go is for Reliant K, but they're not good enough to pull me there.

Last years tour wouls have been great even if it was only TSL & FOB the whole tour.

i went last year for the bands playing in the middle i.e Boys Night Out, MCS, TSL this year there is no reason to go minus Relient K ....

yeah i went last year for MCS, i didn't even know who the first 2 bands were, this year's lineup has nothing i like.

well, at least nothing i know i like. maybe some of those bands will wind up having breakout years like panic did.

and whoever asked what the lineup was.. it is emery, plain white t's, relient k, hawthorne heights and i think one more band

I wouldn't mind seeing Plain White T's as well, I guess overall I don't think it's that bad.

that is what i did last year when fallout boy came on... we were considering staying, but then after a song we were like fuck it and driving home faster was better hah

This lineup is shallow compared to last year's. I love Reliant K and Emery but I wouldn't sit through the other bands for them.

Emery's live shows are awe-inspiring. I'd go for them, Relient K, and the Plain White T's.

If the tour comes around where I live, I will definately be going.

i honestly can't stand emery's music but they put on an incredible live show. i'm pretty excited to see them. and i'll go ahead and say hawthorne heights also puts on an awesome show....when they aren't cheering crowdsurfers on in the million degree weather...i almost died at bamboozle.

Relient K is great. say what you want of FOB... but they put on a fun show. plus they had MCS TSL and BNO. and lets face it. you know you liked Panic! back then.

i never liked Panic, but i do like BNO. and if you think FOB puts on great show you havent seen SOTY

SOTY alone doesnt make the whole show the best.

im saying... FOB+MCS+TSL+BNO=better than SOTY

but they also had MCR who was amazing. they're live show was more energetic and passionate then. and plus Lostprophets who are incredible and one of the bands that got me into this kind of music along wih Glassjaw. and plus Autopilot-off (rip) who i still love. Letterkills was alright too.

i really like the sleeping. plain white t's are fun i guess but i've kind of lost interest in them. emery is pretty good.

but seeing as this isn't really coming remotely near me it doesn't really matter.

FOB is better than MCR. easily

and Panic! sucked live. it was all loops with the drummer keeping a simple beat. and the bass and guitar were easy beyond belief.

easily, no. MCR is so much better and so much more important for the "scene" or whatever u wanna call it. FOB is the downfall and turning the scene into radio pop. MCR is far superior musicians and always will be. And SOTY puts on an amazing live show that needs to be seen to believe, they really are awesome even if they have fallen of the map recently

Story of the Year is fucking amazing live, but last years lineup was the best. All of the bands did awesome. People have to realize that panic isn't trying to have the most challenging musical parts, they just put everything together amazingly, with awesome hooks and lyrics. Stop hating. But yeah this years lineup sucks. So disappointed. I'm not goin but I would go to see HH and Emery.

first off, so what? i have tons and tons of bands listed. i am bound to like some more than others. and MCR sucks live. "when i say fuck you say "you"" fuck! you! fuck! you! what fun..... lameness

second off..... the song Be Like That is really good. and i dont know how that has to do with MCR not being that important to the world.
