I feel like my friend and I are always butting heads about money. He picked up a quarter of straight up shwag for $40. We smoke with the same group of 4 (including him) almost every night, so I figured we would each throw 10 and split the bag (as we have been all year). Now he thinks we should all just throw him 5 for every time we smoke, which will definitely end up being closer to $20 each. Now, I would have no problem with this if he was just my dealer or not even one of my best friends, but when we pick up it is usually in community, plus he's going to end up smoking more of the bag than any of us because he smokes before classes, so am I really wrong to protest this?

I have a question for you all. My brother is a senior in HS. He has 3 weeks til he graduates. But he supposedly smokes before he leaves for school and dips out during lunch to go get high. He promises me there is no risk in doing this, but I disagree. I think it's an unnecessary risk that need not be taken. Do any of you think I am right in scolding / getting pissed at him for doing something like this? (I understand I'm not his parent, but I'm close to it.) Don't get me wrong, I smoke a lot and am an advocate for weed. I just think leaving HS during lunch to get high is rather idiotic.

I ended up getting crazy light headed from smoking too much and kinda blacking out in front of a sink while trying to get a glass of water. I came too with my hand in sink water, I dropped the cup I was holding on the ground, and I was mildly shaking. Weirdest experience ever. My ears were ringing so loud I couldn't hear anything and my vision got blurry. I had a headache for a while, that's why I took the nap around 4, and I woke up feeling great haha

That's awesome, should be a nice setup either way, but at my own place I'm doing just a simple flood & drain hydro with a 400 watt light with 4 and just veged em out longer the first time around and go with 5-6 on the next one. I haven't tried organics, but my buddy's gotten really good results with hydro and the House and Garden nutrient line. Their site gives you a custom feed chart based on how big your reservoir is and how long your flowering cycle is.

And I've been meaning to check that album out, so I'll throw it on later tonight when I smoke some Cotton Candy. Thanks for the rec and good luck with the growing, update us!

This wasn't planned. Me and another friend were waiting for this other guy to get off work and we went down to his place. He bought some salvia from his co-worker. There were only three of us. One guy took his and then I took one about 4 minutes later. My other buddy did not do any. We didn't move, I just laid back and enjoyed the trip. You can't walk very well my buddy thought he pissed himself and he tried to get up and he ended up falling down. It was funny. Just make sure you are ready for it and hold that shit in.

My friend and I shoot some h every few months because it's awesome. We don't want to get addicted and all that shit so we just make sure we rarely do it. I had taken 1mg of klonopin (for my anxiety) in the early afternoon. And then a .5mg kpin around 10:00pm. I shot the h, and it was smaller than what I usually did, and then I black out. My friend said I stopped breathing and my lips went blue. He had to do mouth to mouth. Luckily some friends who knew exactly what to do lived 2 minutes away so they came over to make sure I was alright. I'm fine. But I probably almost died. Not touching heroin ever again. I recommend that no one else does either.

Whoa, dude. Glad you're okay.

I don't think it's particularly bad to experiment. It all depends your personality to see what's good for you. You were still being smart about your heroin use, because you researched it and educated yourself. You made steps to try as best as possible to avoid making mistakes. You slipped up, shit happens. That's how I've approached more serious drugs. I always research it just to know how I can be safe. My friend has been offering me opium (not heroin). Definitely gonna think about it.

That all being said, I'll never touch heroin.

Thing was, our landlord did him a favor for letting him stay in our university housing for three weeks so he could finish high school under condition that he didn't bring any of that into the apartment and that he had no friends inside the apartment. He was kicked out of his last place because of substance abuse and stuff that went on with his friends.

Within 24 hours of moving in, he had already smoked with them on the main floor of our place. Even smoking cigarettes isn't allowed inside. I guess my roommates called the cops the first time and he and his friends ran away and came back a few hours later. The next morning the cops came again while I was in class and arrested him. He was cited and was also on probation for his last round of substance abuse.

Three days later, I walk in from work and the place smells like pot again and there's an empty bottle of vodka in the basement. Keep in mind he's in high school. I told him that I wasn't OK with what he was bringing into our place. I also told him that he had people that were living here (including me) that were willing to help him out if he wanted it because his friends had a huge effect on him. And I told him that I wasn't OK with dealing with all of this stuff during finals week in my second to last semester of undergraduate work. I apologized for being a jerk and having to speak like that, he said not to and it was his fault, and then thanked me for my honesty. He left with his friend and we were on good terms. I also informed them that if I had any suspicion there were illegal substances in the place again that I wouldn't hesitate to call the cops.

Three to four days later, I went to our school's commencement ceremony in the morning. Five hours later I come back and he's there with a group of friends and the whole place smells like pot again. I called the cops immediately. His friends left and got in a car and drove away right as the cop walked up, and lo and behold it was the same kid who was there a few days prior that I told he wasn't welcome because of the kid's special living arrangements. They searched my roommate's room and car and found more alcohol and a bunch of stuff they had stolen from people in the city there too.

I don't feel like I was rude at all. Many people talked with him about it. I was honest with him. And he figured that he could do whatever he wanted without thinking how it would affect anyone living with him. I'm not OK with people negatively affecting my living environment like that, nor do I support a group of kids stealing stuff from people so they can sell it to buy more drugs. It's not ethical, and it's illegal.

I just think it's sad because he was one week away from being done with high school but he decided to throw that all away. Regardless of my religion, I just don't see how it could be worth it to give your life away to a substance. Even reading the kid's story about heroine at the top of the page confirms that. It isn't something to be trifled with in my opinion.

So I apologize if I offended any of you. That wasn't my intent. I speak more out of seeing how a negative influence caused someone that I knew for a couple weeks to completely mess his life up right now. But there has to be accountability for your actions and, whether you believe it or not, drugs are illegal and you are not entitled to any sort of protection or courtesy simply because it's something you feel like doing.
