Now something that has always intrigued me is if a band let's say like Thrice (who are usually quite praised) covered a song like Knife Blood Nightmare by Aiden (not quite praised). And with Fearless releasing Pop Goes...Classic and having bad bands cover great songs. So here are some of the retarded/demented/insane ideas that go through my head. Having a "good" band cover a "bad" band's song. And then making it better/good/great.
I could see myself liking Knife Blood Nightmare with a talented vocalist (like Dustin). Any other combinations you think would be interesting?

Man, you're from Plymouth. My roommate is from Plymouth.
This is a bad idea.
I like to think that bands like Thrice haven't even heard bands like Aiden.

I don't purposely listen to shitty songs by shitty bands, so I've got nothing, but I do agree a scene band covers scene band song would be cool

I always thought Knife Blood Nightmare was the only good Aiden song. It would sound stupid hearing a band like Thrice cover that song anyway.

See this was alright until the whole trend kicked in...
I'm not quite sure this would ever work. A "bad" band gets labeled as such because of their music. Therefore, if Radiohead were to cover Nickelback the songs would still be bad because they were awful in the first place. Also, Postal Service needs to cover Owl City.

I'm sure a good band could cover a bad song and make it better. It would probably need to be reworked a lot. I don't know if any band can make Aiden sound good though.

I mean, they're not my favorite band, but they have some quality stuff. I don't understand all the hate.
