Here are some new tour dates and press release on the return of UnderOath (http://www.underoath777.com).

When UNDEROATH--one of the biggest rock success stories of the year-- suddenly announced they were leaving the Vans Warped Tour two weeks before the trek’s conclusion, the fate of the band looked uncertain and in fact bleak. Dramatic internal struggles were taking place while an Alternative Press magazine writer was on the road with the band, and it’s documented in the current UNDEROATH cover story in the new October 2006 issue.
Now, after taking a brief hiatus to resolve the issues that were threatening the band’s existence, UNDEROATH have emerged stronger and more cohesive as a unit than ever before. “We’re sorry we had to drop off tour in the Northeast,” notes guitarist TIM MCTAGUE. “Our situation was critical and we had to work through old issues that were hindering us from functioning as a band together. We’re excited to be back on the road and we’ll definitely come back to the Northeast in the spring to make things up to our fans.”
With this new energy, the band will return to the road in September for a Canadian headlining tour with Silverstein, Moneen and He Is Legend. Next, the group heads overseas for the Taste of Chaos international tour with Taking Back Sunday, Thursday and others.
Their explosive album DEFINE THE GREAT LINE on Seattle indie Tooth & Nail/Solid State debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart, with over 97,000 copies sold in the first week alone. Critical acclaim continues to follow the group. In the October 2006 Alternative Press cover story, the writer hails DEFINE THE GREAT LINE as “an unrelenting examination of self that tests the bounds of hope, faith and forgiveness that’s as technical as it is melodic and uncompromising as it is inspirational.”
UNDEROATH--lead vocalist SPENCER CHAMBERLAIN, guitarist TIM MCTAGUE, bassist GRANT BRANDELL, drummer AARON GILLESPIE, keyboardist CHRISTOPHER DUDLEY and guitarist JAMES SMITH--plan to stay on the road well into 2007.

You would probably be better off spending your time brushing up on your english rather than posting in every thread that's about a band you don't like.

How much praying did they do? But seriously, they are close to winning the Thursday award for 2006. Underoath's publicist needs to loosen up on the drama.

Yeah the website is funded and created by a webmaster at UCLA. All i do is control what's on it. I have no way of controling the design or the fact that it only works with IE. I use Firefox and whenever i edit what's on it i have to fucking use IE.

Word.

But seriously, Underoath is probably one of the best bands I've ever seen live, and both the Canadian headlining tour and the Taste of Chaos line-ups are killer. If I lived anywhere near any of those venues, you couldn't pay me to miss these shows.

I only bag on MCR, UO, FOB, P!ATD, Aiden, and Hawthorne Heights. If you like those bands I'm sorry, but they are just so bad I can't contain myself.

Yeah I actually hate LA. It's hot as fuck here plus everyone who lives here is a complete asshole. As soon as I graduate I want to get the fuck out of this city. Every other person that lives here carries around a small dog and drives a fucking hummer. It makes me want to puke.

I loved seeing them on Warped, and really enjoyed the AltPress article. I'm just happy to know they're getting back to action - if the Vancouver date wasn't on a Thursday, I'd most definitely roll on up to see them.

Define The Great Line is going to be in my top 5 at the end of the year, no doubt. I'm still in love with this record.

i saw them open up for beloved a couple years back and they were just horrible, but i saw them a few years prior and they were amazing.

They really effed up by dropping Vans Warped Tour especially after releasing their CD. With a #2 cd I still haven't heard any airplay here (los angeles). Personally I think this band is a tad bit over rated but they don't deserve the bashing they get in the scene. Not a fan but I can't say that I hate them.

They played two shows (in one night) here back in September of 2004. But I agree, they are way overdue in coming back, especially since they weren't at Warped.
