Just watched the first episode, since it's on BBC 2 over here. Wasn't particularly funny, but it was only the first episode. It has huge potential. Could really revive his career. I can see it having over 4 seasons to be completely honest. Great idea for a show aswell.

A) Name isn't spelled right in the topic
B) Has fallen so far the OP had to remind people he's Joey from "Friends."

That said, haven't seen the show. But interesting Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry and he all have their own shows.

This finale was really good. It's the type of show where I feel I could watch over and over again to pick up on the subtle nuances of humour and behaviour. I'm excited for next season.

The finale is the tip of the iceberg. I suppose it is a bit predictable after watching the second-to-last episode, however the characters are what keep me watching.

The actor that plays Merk is one of my favorite people on TV right now. paraphrased:

"Why do all our piliots suck? They make me wish I had cancer again, just so I could say 'You think this is bad, I have cancer again!'"

His dynamic with Carol is pretty funny too. Seven episodes was pretty perfect for the debut season, but I hope they get picked up again and their next season is a bit longer.

The finale was really disappointing. It was like they were afraid to commit to what should have been a really emotional scene. Tarnished the whole series with the slapstick fighting and Matt's cheap jokes in the final scene.

I just watched the entire season. I love it! Granted, I'm much more a fan of the British side of it, and I think the network execs are hilarious. Matt LeBlanc is probably the weakest part of the show. But, even so, he's about 100x better than I thought he would be. So glad this got renewed.
