S/T changed my whole musical experience. NFG is my favorite band and I love all their songs and albums but nothing will ever impact me musically like their Self Titled.

Nothing Gold Can Stay. I was in love with this band in 8th grade. Sure the self titled made me like them, but Nothing Gold Can Stay made me appreciate them. Eventhough I grew out of them, Nothing Gold Can Stay is still one hell of a CD.

I don't know, it didn't do much for me. There were a couple good songs and I know that apparently I'm a shitty fan if I don't like NGCS, but it was just a meh album to me.

Just because an album is supposed to be essential aka self titled, doesn't mean it has to be everyone's favorite. It's an amazing album, I agree, but Sticks and Stones was new during a summer where I didn't listen to much music...when I heard it, I fell in love.

I like Nothing Gold Can Stay the best but I liked it when they first put it together and it had the movie quotes in it. It really gave it a soundtrack feel that made it flow a lot better. Too bad licensing and roylaties prevented its official release.

Could someone of the catalyst haters please explain to me why you guys think it sucks so hard? I think catalyst is pretty cool (not their best) but definately not bad or anything. I think the first half of the cd kicks ass, only the second half of the album is not great i think...
