Anybody think any team is going to go undefeated?

Horns will if they beat OSU. That game could go either way.
Im taking West Viginia to go undefeated as well.

OSU vs WV, WV wins
I disagree. The Big 10 is arguably the most powerful conference, and I can't see WV being as great this year as people are expecting.

i'm not jumping off the USC bandwagon yet ..
I think they put together a perfect season and win a national title.
WVU has potential to pull of an undefeated regular season with the Louisville game being the only roadblock, but I think they'd get their asses handed to them in a national title game.

there isn't a national title contender this year, that can't lose.
check this horseshit out
I have a 62 game win streak going in NCAA 07
I play Miami
last time ND played Miami, they stopped Miami's 50 some game win streak
I go up 28-7 by the 3rd quarter
they come back and tie it.. 28-28 OT
They stop me on offense, I hold them on D
they goto kick a field goal, I block it
OT #2
I stop em on D again, they make the field goal..
I get on offense, make it to the 5 yrd line and think to myself
"As long as I dont give the ball up, I got the game"
Next play I fumble, they recover... and win
!#@#$$%^

The best team will probably not win it all this year, with the best three teams in my book, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Texas, with horrifically difficult schedules, probably each having a loss. A couple teams like West Virginia, USC, Louisville, Miami will go to the title game because they go undefeated with cake schedules.
In a perfect world, Ohio State beats Notre Dame in the national title game.

I honestly can't see Texas being the powerhouse they were last year. Vince Young was such a major part of that team.
I also hate them.

I hate them as well my friend, but I have to at least give them the respect they deserve.
If I'm letting my bias get through Ohio State is going undefeated this year and winning the national title...and continuing on to do that every year that I attend college there.

USC vs. Miami in the title game. I had WVU in there for a while but I'm starting to think they'll lose to Louisville. And Miami is the most underrated team in a power conference this season. no one thinks they'll be good besides Kirk Herbstreit. They're defense is probably top 3 in the nation.

honestly, though. i don't think so. i think everything is wide open this year. i agree w/the ND sentiment, though. i think they'll lose AT LEAST 1, probably too. i'm pulling from them, though as their center is an alumni of my high school. dude WRECKS people.

As a huge Miami fan, it is very hard to pick them in the title game. I really think they have the team to do it and their schedule is very favorable, but I can't bring myself to do it.
That said, I think the only undefeated team going into bowl season will be USC.

This is probably the first year in a while where there aren't two clear favorite teams.
Anyway, I'm thinking it's gonna be USC/WVU. With USC winning.

I just love love love that Hurricane D. It'll be dominating this year and I think the offense puts together a good to great year as well.

ND might lose a game, but it's not going to be to USC. If it is, I'll post a picture of myself with a sign taped to my ass that I'm Jarret's Bitch.
It's not happening, I don't care how far USC does or does not fall.

It's not happening, I don't care how far USC does or does not fall.Haha agreed. I don't see Texas or USC finishing in the top 5 and I do see ND and OSU going undefeated. In another scenario, if WV goes undefeated they shouldnt even be considered for the title game strictly because of their schedule and they'll probably lose to Louisville anyway. If ND gets through September undefeated then I'm handing them the championship.

Yea their defense should be one of the best in the nation. If the offensive line steps up, they could be very, very dangerous. I can't wait to see it all unfold.

I don't think OSU and ND are better than Miami.
ND has defensive issues they need to solve before I can am sold on them. They need to not let Drew Stanton and MSU have their way with them, let alone the tough ass teams they have to face.
OSU's got tons of people they need to replace on D and I'm not sold on them shutting people down defensively speaking.
Texas I agree is one of the best teams in the country and by the end of the year Colt McCoy will prove to be a great QB.
However, Miami has one of the top 3 best D's in the country, great play makers, the best TE in the country (talent wise) in Greg Olsen, IMO, and Kyle Wright in his 3rd year will assert himself as a Heisman Candidate with a break out season, a la, Brady Quinn last year (but probably not as explosive/throwing for as many yards and such).
Plus, give me a team with a great, great, great defense, and an offense that is good over a great offense and a decent defense, any day of the week.

No way both ND and OSU make it through their schedules. ND loses 2 games this year to one of the following 3 teams: Michigan, PSU, USC.

He's got common sense and knows OSU is a bad team to root for? :)

I see at least one Big Ten team in the champs this year.
It's obviously the most competitive conference.
Notre Dame will lose at least 2.
Brady Quinn will get destroyed by PSU's and OSU's defense.

i want them so badly. but since this bowl shit makes more money for corporations who advertise on the netwroks on which the bowl games are aired. the bowls will stay.
Miami will be a good team and could shock a lot if their players stay in the game without having all those off field issues. I am having second thoughts on OSU, they have a real tough sched and could be upset by NIU as I have said many times. Then play Texas, Iowa and Michigan. Thats not a breeze of a sched. Whoever wins out of Louisville WV will be one half of the NC and I still believe it will be WV however Louis is insanly good with Bush and Brohm. You can never count out Texas yes without Vince Young they still are a team. USC can never be counted out as well. ND will lose 2 or 3....from MSU(beat them last year and planted flag on the field, that was awesome), PSU/Michigan, USC.
how on earth can you live in ohio and root for any other team besides ohio state?
I live in Ohio and love the Bucks...will be rooting for them all year

Yeah, if Poz carries the whole team. They're probably on of the most inexperienced defenses out of the teams ND has to worry about this year.
Michigan, USC....now those are two defenses that will give them trouble.
Woody Paige has ND/OSU in the Championship
Skip Bayless has FSU/Lousville.
I think my final pick is ND/Miami

Catholics vs. Convicts Pt. 2what a fucking moron. louisville's schedule will prevent them from being the title game and fsu will lose to miami on monday night so that will end their season. I agree with your prediction though. As long as ND gets through september without a loss they'll be there and Miami should run away with the ACC after beating fsu.

Whoever wins the SEC should get a title berth way before whoever wins the Big Ten.Only thing about the SEC is that generally their out of conference games are more than complete jokes. I mean UGA opens against Western Kentucky. But if someone goes undefeated in the SEC then they would have to be in the title game by default since who ever does it has to be ranked fairly high in the rankings to begin with. The chances of that happening aren't too good though.

Uhhh, Michigan, Michigan State and Wisconsin all open with MAC opponents regularly.
Western Michigan opens @ Indiana. And it's not like the Big Ten teams take on the good MAC teams like Miami when Roethlisberger was there or anything, it's the mediocre MAC teams.
