Thursday plays a good chunk of FC usually...

Understanding In A Car Crash and then one other (usually Autobiography of a Nation) is pretty typical for a Thursday set these days. Sometimes they'll do Cross Out The Eyes or Paris In Flames as well. But I hardly consider 2-3 songs from Full Collapse to be a good chunk.

Converge are the same way. They'll do Concubine and then one other and that's it.

OK. First of all, probably the best show ive ever been to. Here's what the bands (minus Lewd Acts since i dont know them well) played (but not in order of their setlist, sorry, i cant memorize that.)

Touche Amore - And Now Its Happening In Mine, Honest Sleep, Cadence, Swimming With Sharks, History Reshits Itself, Broken Records, Nine, Always Running Never Looking Back, Adieux, two new songs

Converge - Concubine, Distance and Meaning, The Broken Vow, First Light, Last Light, Drop Out, Eagles Become Vultures, Hanging Moon, Heartache, Hellbound, No Heroes, Orphaned, Lonewolves, Dark Horse, Reap What You Sow, Axe To Fall, Wishing Well, Damages, Dead Beat, Cutter

Thursday - Understanding In A Car Crash, Autobiography of a Nation, Paris In Flames, Jet Black New Year, For The Workforce Drowning, Division St, Signals Over The Air, The Other Side of the Crash, At This Velocity, Resuscitation of a Dead Man, Friends In The Armed Forces, Beyond the Visible Spectrum, Circuits of Fever. (also Sugar in the Sacrament was written on the setlist but they skipped it for some reason =/)

i do remember SOME of the order of songs, so if you're wondering about the arrangement of their sets like what they started with and ended with, etc, just ask and i'll try to recall.

Yup, it's the exact same songs from the Taste of Chaos '09 and Common Existence tour, minus the few oddballs they'd throw in there every once in a while such as War All The Time and Cross Out The Eyes (both of which I saw at Denver's Taste of Chaos).

unfortunately, as much as i love Thursday to death, i agree with you. they have sooooo many great songs that just go unplayed. i would have flipped out if they played Unintended Long Term Effects, Dead Songs, An Absurd and Unrealistic Dream of Peace, Tomorrow I'll Be You, M Shepard, etc. but im also not the type of guy to yell out songs for them to play. people were yelling for Porcelain. what a joke hahaha.

and speaking of that, someone yelled for a song during Converge, and Jake was like "how old are you?" and the guy said 24, and he was like "what are you doing? just living life? how would you feel if i just told you to start playing baseball?" i thought that was the most clever way of telling the jukebox kids to shut up hahaha.

I was actually wrong, he just turned 27 in April. I was thinking of someone else that just turned 30 haha. But still, he is definitely pretty old for a band that has been together for 2 years, not to mention how much they've accomplished in such a short amount of time through hard work and dedication. If any newer hardcore band deserves to be touring with Converge and Thursday, it's them.

You're never too old to start. A lot of bands don't get their start until after high school anyways. Band's that get lucky and start getting big while still in high school or just finishing are few and far between.

What a night:

-Touche Amore is now a four piece. One gutarist quit and flew home last night. They are now on the rest of the tour.
-Lewed Acts lead singer left the band high and dry. The merch guy did vocals. They are off the tour after tonight.
-Black Breather's merch/tour manager had a seizure, they had to go to the hopsital and ended up getting to the Grog Shop at 11:00 PM and played last. They drove straight from New York, loaded in and played.
-Converge is the only band that survived the last two days without being effected.
-Andy from Every Time I Die was in the house.

well, i agree that Touche Amore wouldnt appreciate a "fan" of theirs talking unprovoked shit about a band that has done nothing but take chances for them and do great things for them. specifically calling out Geoff when he's been hyping up their band for quite a while. Touche Amore can thank Geoff for a good portion of their fanbase because of him getting their name out places for them, myself included. so thats cool if you think Thursday sucks, and you can make a thread for that if you want, im sure you'll get a good amount of people who agree with you and whom you can share your hate with, but there's really a difference between stating your opinion, and going out of your way to talk mountains of shit. thats just my opinion though, i dont have the drive to want to physically fight over it.

Converge is the best live band i've ever seen. such an incredible performance.

the set was the same as the other post. dunno about Gaza, Coliseum or Black Breath though. i do know that Gaza were incredible as well. plus nate held his bass in front of me and some other dudes and let us hammer away on it for the feedback-y outro of the song, which ruled.

yeah they're both super cool dudes. I wish Thursday was on the tour when they came out to CA. Still, Converge killed it at chain reaction a couple weeks ago.
