Any love for the Sega Dreamcast? Dusted mine off the other day, what a beauty! Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, House of the Dead 2, Chu Chu Rocket - the memories. Man this console was the best, should of been more popular than it was.

Could of been a great system if they had an awesome launch title to go with it.

SUCH FUCKING GOLD

I played soul calibur non stop and I will say that it's one of the best fighting games of all time
Sonic Adventure was also very great, makes me want to find and play mine
I wish they would have been able to continue to make games/nextgen console

I loved my Dreamcast. Jet Set Radio was incredible fun. And Sonic Adventure 1 and 2! First time I saw that VMU I nearly crapped my pants, thought it was the most futuristic thing ever! Oh and of course Caaaarrrraaazzyyyyyyy Taaaaaaxiiiii!

Loved Code Veronica, Crazy Taxi, THPS2, and Test Drive 6. Sonic Adventure 2 was so frustrating (worst camera angles ever imagined)

They should do a Dreamcast 2. Talks of DC games are going to xbox live arcade too.

And back in the day, me and my good buddy used to play House of the Dead 2 non stop. Simpler times.

I bought one recently off Ebay with two controllers, two VMU's, and a shitload of games for $70 buck. Great purchase. Also, Power Stone is so fucking fun, but I forgot how awkward gaming is with only one analog stick.

i still have my dreamcast.
it's real awesome that you can just download games and burn them to CDs and play them.
probably most of the reason why it failed.

I still play my Dreamcast more than any other system I've owned for some reason.

I miss mine so much. I remember I got my first job ever that summer and pre-ordered mine for 9/9/99. Should have never traded it in years ago. My favorite game was TrckStyle followed by Sonic Adventures, Crazy Taxi, Tony Hawk 1, Blue Stinger, NFL 2K

I probably have like, 80 burned Dreamcast games. NBA Showtime is so fucking fun to play with friends. The computer players are ridiculously good though.

phantasy star online destroyed my middle school social life. i was so amazed with online gaming haha. i convinced my parents to get netzero just to play my dreamcast online, even though we already had AOL. for some reason AOL would not work with dreamcast online. so stupid.

People have already mentioned most of the great games (Jet Set Radio, Sonic Adventure, Shenmue, Seaman, etc.), but I noticed one big omission: Typing of the Dead! Alright, so I'll admit that it wasn't an objectively great game, but it's a lot more entertaining that Mavis Beacon, and still provided a fair amount of challenge, so it didn't get too old.

Never had a Dreamcast. Always wanted one for Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, but then it was ported to PS2.

I need to go dig mine up from the basement, I loved that thing. I used to play Jet Grind Radio and Shenemue all the time, it'd be nice to play those games again.

Sonic Adventure, Evolution 1 + 2, Skies of Arcadia.

I need to dig the ol' girl out and replay some of those beauties.

crazy taxi got boring real quickly. there were only 2 stages. after a few minutes i just ended up trying to get airborne as much as possible.
also, world series baseball 2k1 was THEE biggest letdown ever. worst baseball game ever made.

i'm still on a mission to get all the items for power stone 2.

I have that for the PC. It's really great fun, but loses it's appeal after a bit - especially when you type all day at work.

Thing about the Dreamcast was that the games for it were fresh and inventive. Samba De Amigo with the rattle shakes! (never actually got to play that as it cost a bomb but looked immense), Bass Fishing with the rod controller! Typing of the dead as mentioned with the keyboard!
Gutted though - I discovered the light gun is not compatible with new HD tv's, Confidential mission is just not the same with using a controller.

It couldn't play DVDs. That was one of it's downfalls.

I still have mine. It was actually the last gaming system I ever cared about, haha.

My favorite game was definitely some game called Tokyo Racing or something.
