The Vines?

I'm a little surprised that this band never gets brought up... Not even necessarily just on this site because I know they don't exactly fit in, but in general. I feel like I'm the only one that listens to them regularly...

Anyone a fan of them or excited about them finally recording again?

yeah that was kind of their "dammit"... they seemed to have gotten real big, and then disappeared.. that entire CD (Highly Evolved) is flawless. Can't say that about many Cd's

their lead singer has a mental illness.. he had trouble playing live for a while and doing interviews.. i think he got in a fight with someone and they had the cancel their tour.

Kind of why I made the thread.. apparently he's doing better and they're releasing something soon..

Understandable.. your "cross" is dead on though, which is why I'd think they'd be more popular..

They've evolved a little bit though in their later released in case you never checked them out

i think that the reason Vision Valley was kind of boring, was because they doped up Craig on all the meds for his aspergers. but i think melodia is definitely a step in the right direction. they are doing a small tour in austrailia. wonder how the new music is coming. i personally wouldn't mind it, if they just recorded music all the time, and put out an album a year. (which craig said he wanted to do)

Im a huge fan as well i just didnt think gimme love fit on the album the rest of the album was very mello and experimental

Yeah i agree with that it is totally a different style to the rest of the album, wonder what's happening with them now with virtually everyone kicked out of the band by craig haha, it really sucks that they aren't talked about more on here. We need to raise awareness of the vines man!
