i can't tell if that's a serious question or a joke but i'll bite. usually those who attest to having pride in their "white" culture (what is "white" culture anyways?), are also likely to be card carrying members of the aryan resistance or the kkk. i mean i think it's fine to have pride in your roots and to be proud of your irish or german or chinese or mexican heritage. but it's fucked up to distort those ideals to espouse hatred, racism, lies, and violence which these people do every day. that's what i find disturbing.

I think it's find to be proud to be white. I mean, if someone's proud of being black or hispanic or asian, then it's fine and dandy. But as soon as someone says, "Yay whites!" then everyone gets all upset. Just don't take it too far, but it's okay to be proud.

These girls are indeed taking it too far. Because they not only say "Yay we're proud" but also trying to push out all the other races, not embracing diversity. So, that's where the line is drawn.

Well, white people, unlike most black people in this country, have an idea of where their ethnicity lies. "White" Culture could be anything from Italian, to English, to German, to French, to Lithuanian. European Jews even have a distinct culure from African Jews, or Middle Eastern Jews. Each of those(plus all the ones I didn't list) have a distinct culture.

And if you're just talking about American culture, we still have that! Country music, for instance. Even television, for the most part. Friends is a good example.

"White" Culture could be anything from Italian, to English, to German, to French, to Lithuanian. European Jews even have a distinct culure from African Jews, or Middle Eastern Jews. yea, that's kind of what i was going for. white people more or less, can trace their ethnic roots to england, germany, italy, etc. same with asians, latinos. i've got no problem with that. what i do have a problem with is when racists take such deep rooted pride in the color of their skin. that's a physiological feature of the human body pertaining to the amout of melanin you have in your skin. it's a genetic trait, just like height, hair color, bone structure, etc. that makes absolutely no sense to me. but then again, that's probably the only reaction you can come to when dealing with the nonsense that comes out of the mouth of a racist.
