After their announcement (http://www.altpress.com/news/tbsno5.htm) a few weeks back bringing back original band members John Nolan and Shaun Cooper, Taking Back Sunday (http://www.takingbacksunday.com/) have released they will be going out on a short 6-date tour in June. These will be the first dates since the days of Tell All Your Friends where the band will perform with its original lineup. In a video update posted today, the band also reveals they are currently writing their new album in Texas and will be heading into the studio "soon."

New Again was better than Louder Now IMO, I actually liked the whole album alot but i think you should check out "Everything Must Go", "Swing" and "Summer, Man"

Some of the Louder Now songs just didnt click with me, such as 20/20 Surgery, Miami, Up Against, and I'll Let You Live. The others got old too over time. MakeDamnSure was the highlight probably

And I was scared to go back and change it to delivery because I feared losing the tickets that I was entrusted to buy. Though since an hour later they aren't sold out, I shouldn't have been too worried I guess. I just really hope that I can go, because I'm stuck with the tickets if I can't. Just saying.... Usually at shows I've seen there, they have a guy at the stairs that checks every ticket to make sure you're supposed to be in the balcony or on the floor. Not sure if that'll be the case for this, but you may be stuck upstairs watching from the boardwalk/seating.

Avalanche would be a great choice for an opener. I can also see Anthony Raneri being involved in the opening acts as well, be it solo or with Bayside.

However, I feel like any opener they have isn't going to end up being with them for all the dates. So who knows where all our speculation will lead us.

Avalanche would be a great choice for an opener. I can also see Anthony Raneri being involved in the opening acts as well, be it solo or with Bayside.

However, I feel like any opener they have isn't going to end up being with them for all the dates. So who knows where all our speculation will lead us.

I know that Bayside is playing the Zumies Couch Tour with Hawthorne Heights this summer. In Philly, they are playing at a mall about 45 minutes from the city from 5-6pm the same night as the TBS show. I'll be at both!

Also, anyone know if the HOB in Boston searches you before you go in? I've been there, but can't remember. I have a really good digital recorder that I use for demoing stuff with my band, so I might try to bootleg the Boston show.

On John's Formspring, people asked what his favorite post-TAYF album was. He said he hadn't listened to any of them enough to have a favorite. I wonder if he'll have listened to any enough for them to even play any of those songs? Has he said anything about playing any stuff he or Shaun weren't involved with.
To be honest, it'd be kind of funny if they just played TAYF and new songs, and forget those other albums even happened, but there sure are some songs I'd like to hear off WYWTB and LN.
I'm not sure if it was John, but I'm pretty sure at least one of them confirmed they'll be playing stuff from the other albums. I want to say I read it on one of their Formsprings, but I can't remember which one.
