ESPNEWS is reporting that Charles Rogers will probably be cut today.

I know you hate the Lions but thought you would still appreciate this one.

Three years in the league and the dude made less catches than Freddie Mitchell.

The pot head needed to go.

I'm pretty sure it was cocaine. I could be wrong though.

And thank fucking god.

It's a good thing we took him in front of Andre Johnson, which for the record, I thought was a HUGGGGGEEEEEEE mistake the second that pick was made. I'm all for bringing people that starred at local college etc etc but Johnson was clearly the better kid coming out of college.

He faced better DB's when he was at Miami, and they're the same size but he's got more bulk, less ego, and is willing to go across the middle.

We've got 1 down, 2 more shitty, egotistical piece of shit WR's to go.

And a GM.

And an Owner.

And an Offensive Line.

then we'll be golden from then and I can actually support the team.

Roy Williams had a good rookie year though and he is expected to have a decent year this year.... I wouldn't want to go out on the field in a lions jersey either.

Roy Williams threw Joey Harrington under the bus after the 1st preseason game this year while answering a question in which his name wasn't mentioned.

In short, Fuck roy williams too.

I don't know, i just don't see what they see. All I see are a bunch of underachievers coupled with a shitty, shitty offensive line.

definitely a shitty O-line and that is their problem. their defense isn't entirely bad. they have potential.

bigmike
09/01/06, 05:26 PM
the defense has potential, but they're on the field for like 70% of the game, which you just can't do. and until the o-line get's improved enough to make for a good running game, the defense will continue to be tired and overworked.

yeah that is why the Eagles defensive #s were terrible last year...but analysts fail to understand that.

Well, they have a better chance (obviously) doing that than the Lions have winning the North.

Yeah. All analysts say are "oh they're horible defensively."

Well, it obviously can't be the fact that the team is horrible controlling the ball, or bad on offense in general. I hate that. There's reasons why some defenses are horrible -- some are that they just suck, and some are because the offense hangs them out to dry.

Who is quarterbacking the Lions?

Who is quarterbacking the Lions?
Kitna as far as I know. I haven't watched a single preseason game and in the season I'll be watching just to root against everyone but Shaun Rogers and Kevin Jones.

I think it'll be Kitna with McCown #2 and Orlovsky #3.

8 words to describe the eagles offensive woes.

Mike McMahon and Koy Detmer were playing quarterback

I wouldn't be surprised in the Vikings pick him up.
I know they are looking to sign a WR, LB and a Safety.

Haha, I love Mike McMahon. All he did was move the ball when he filled in for us a few years ago, and I feel bad that he got the shaft by the organization for basically doing what Jeff Garcia can do, but being younger.

I remember he dropped his paycheck in a grocery store parking lot in suburban Detroit and some old lady found it and eventually he got it back. I think it was for like 13,000 for 2 weeks or something. Then he gave her some money for returning it.

This has nothing to do with the Vikings or my hatred of the (I love love love Tavarious Jackson), but i hope charles rogers wrecks his knee the first time he steps on the turf in the Metrodome.

well in the NFC East he didn't do that.

Yeah. He did pretty decent here when he'd get playing time and I think of him and Garcia being the same type player, only garcia benefited in SF from having a guy like TO to throw to.

Though, McMahon is a lifetime backup, I think.

If McNabb goes down, I think you'll see AJ Feely go in after a week of Jeff Garcia
