Anyone played the demo? Thoughts? First and foremost, including Jason Lee as coach Frank was a fantastic idea. Also think the item drop feature is sweet, and I'm pumped for the team's based online stuff.

yeah i'm picking this up for sure. the hardcore mode will definetly make this game last longer for me

Played the demo for literally, probably, 20-25 hours so far. It's so damn good. Hardcore mode is the best idea the series has ever made and I love Lee. Add in 4-person online co-op and I'm more than sold.

There are little things that I'm finding out every time I play, too. Like you can drop in from the top of a quarter/half-pipe now, if you bail off your board, you can get a running start and hop back on. It's the little things, guys!

I think it's the opposite of faster paced, specifically on 'Hardcore.' The optional camera angle is, but they probably got tired of hearing people bitch about the angle from the first two games.

I played Skate 2 for probably a total of 5 mins before I got bored. I will check out this demo, though, cause Skate was awesome.

I really want to get this, I missed out on Skate and Skate 2. However, I got a free demo for Skate 2 on my PS3 and can't stop playing Hall of Meat.

The camera moving while you are grinding is driving me insane on Skate 3. Skate 1 is where its at, that game was never ending it felt like. Skate 2 got old after a couple months. Don't know if i'll buy the 3rd.
