I am sure everyone has heard of Jimmie's Chicken Shack. Think back to 1998. Think of watching MTV, more than likely you came across this video:

Despite that big hit they had, they are still labeled a one hit wonder in some aspects. But since then, they've put out 2 more albums and Jimi, whose the only original member left has worked with a lot of awesome bands and musicians to keep the Shack going. Their album "re.present" even had the likes of Butch Walker, Aaron Lewis, Mark Tremonti and Art Alexakis.

The new album is Fail on Cue and its pretty awesome. Check out this song from it:

what song is Art on??
Backing vocals on "Leech"

Great album by the way, some of it was awkward at first, but I'm a long time fan and one of my friends in high school was related to Sipple so it was extra cool. I really dig the change of style on every album. Shows HaHa's songwriting capabilities.

This might be the coolest thread this site has ever seen. Not so sure about new Jimi though...just not my kind of thing I guess, but that's okay.

He's on "Leech" off of "re.present". As far as I know, I don't believe he does the backing vocals on the song, he just co-wrote it. I'm only 90% sure tho.

This band is seriously way underrated for the last 10 years. They have put out solid albums even with so many member changes per album. Not to mention Jimi has worked with some great people. I wish more people knew of them.

Also he had some of the sickest dreads in the business.

Despite that big hit they had, they are still labeled a one hit wonder in some aspects.

Despite it? The phrase you were looking for would be because of that big hit they had. Despite that big hit wouldn't make any sense.
