I was filling out the employment agreement for the PE Teacher job when I noticed one of the clauses read as follows...

'This Agreement shall immediately terminate upon the death of the Employee.'

Of course my instant reaction was one of relief, because I'd HATE to die and be on my way to the afterlife and find out I was stuck in some Earthly employment agreement.

But then I realized I was onto something here, so I came up with a new sitcom idea...

ZOMBIE PE TEACHER!

The story is as follows. A young aspiring PE Teacher, lets call him Andrew, signs an agreement to teach. Unfortunately, the EVIL administration leaves out the clause that terminates his agreement upon death. He has a freak accident, and wakes up to find himself... dead?!!? Yes, because of his employment agreement he is not able to leave this Earthly plane, but is stuck working for the school, for... dun dun dun... ALL OF ETERNITY!

I'm calling this... get this... a "dramedy." Get it? Drama meets comedy? I'm so god damned brilliant.

Just imagine how many hilarious situations can ensue...

Student thinks he scored a goal in soccer but oops... turns out he kicked Zombie PE Teacher's head into the goal instead! *cue laugh track*

Student accidentally picks up Zombie PE Teacher's arm and uses it as a baseball bat... uh... *cue laugh track*

Well ok I haven't fully explored the comedic potential but you have to admit it is there. But this will be so much deeper than just a mere comedy. Imagine the many potentials for touching moments...

Little Suzie's pet hampster dies and Zombie PE Teacher comforts her in a way no one else possibly could, because yes Suzie... he has been there, he KNOWS. *cue sappy music*

Gunfred, the new foreign kid, is getting made fun of by classmates for his accent and looks. Who better to teach a lesson in accepting those who are different than a walking flesh-rotted corpse who everyone knows and loves? *cue sappy music*

So what do you think, should I call up the networks now or what?
