I think it's a lack of nostalgia thing. The first time I watched them was in my late teens. Just don't have that relationship with them I guess.
And thanks!

Haha wow. I love all the sequels, even Crystal Skull. Maybe I'm just a 7 year-old boy at heart. Hell, I own and enjoy the three SW prequels as well.

I love all the SW prequels, but my emotional attachment to Star Wars is so much greater than Indy. I mean, the IJ flicks just aren't near as fun for me as they were when I was 8. I love nonstop action with Harrison Ford as much as the next guy, but if I watch them now I just pick them apart for some reason. I dunno man. But Raiders is by far the best.

That's why I picked Doom, it was my first action-adventure movie I've seen in early teens.

Haven't seen the Indiana Jonses, The Color Purple, or that other one, haven't seen ET in years and don't really remember a thing, thus, going with my first mancrush and supporting Bale and Empire.

Yeah? I've actually seen Crystal Skull (when I was getting in to movies for free) and it was absolutely awful, kinda made me want to watch the earlier films even less.

I had a roommate who was a big fantasy adventure film guy...he made me sit through these and the star war series one weekend and I still have nightmares about the whole ordeal.
