Looks pretty good. I love classic unsolved or notorious murders...reading about them, movies on them, etc. They are so interesting. Really any serial killer/murder storys interests me.
Josh Hartnett im not a big fan of but it doesnt bother me that much.

Thoughts?

I have like 10 pages left...and I think the movie will be WAYYY different if IMDB has anything right. Hillary Swank's family's name is changed, 2 key witnesses that are interrogated aren't listed as characters, Hilary Swank's mother is not listed in the cast if I remeber correctly.

I dunno, I am somewhat regretting reading the book before i see the movie now because the book is really really good, and i have a feeling the movie won't live up to it. But who knows, I will still see it when it comes out.

yeahhh i didnt care to search, i didnt figure there would be that many threads on it anyhow

i just read the crimelibrary.com story on the murder...intriguing to say the least
she wasnt fond of becoming good friends with anyone, she knew lots of people casually

I dunno, I think this will probably be a really good movie if you don't know anything about the murder, but if you do, I just don't think it's going to be very good.

i just logged on to the official Black Dahlia website... it gives a lot of insight into the crime, its really interesting. but i lost my appetite pretty quick when i saw the graphic photos of the body.
