So I'm up and outta the hospital, not completely healed but feeling a lot better. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and to Scenes from a Movie (http://www.myspace.com/scenesfromamovie), Permanent Me (http://www.myspace.com/permanentme), and June (http://www.myspace.com/june) for everything they did as well. Since it's been slow news the entire time I've been away, I've taken time out of my movies-sleep-take pills-eat-sleep regimine to compile a list of bands for you all to check out.
Recent Abacus signee Arms of Orion (http://www.myspace.com/armsoforion) have posted a new song from their upcoming CD, The Book Was So Much Better. The song is called Your Favorite One.
Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Start (http://www.upupdowndown.org), has released a FREE on-line EP titled "Girls Names". You can download it all right here for free (http://www.gradwellhouse.com/girlsnames).
The Radio Fix (http://www.myspace.com/theradiofix) have a new song posted.
Jimmy Robbins (http://www.myspace.com/toosorryforapologies) has posted a new, live song on his myspace. Also, Jimmy will be next month's Alternative Press, unsigned artist of the month!

Fighting to Forget (http://www.myspace.com/fightingtoforget) have decided to drop off of the Purevolume.com "Ya'll got Weapons" tour. They will be focusing on releasing their ep (label tba) before their October tour with Racing Kites/Motion Picture Demise.
Fallen from the Sky (http://www.myspace.com/fallenfromthesky) have posted a new video on their myspace.
Illinois natives Starter Set (http://www.myspace.com/starterset/)have signed to TDR Records (http://www.tdrrec.com/). Their debut EP, 'The Driving EP' is due out 9/21 and is available for pre-order through the TDR Records webstore (http://www.tdrrec.com/store.htm).
Detroit, Michigans, Fireworks (http://www.myspace.com/fireworksmi) have just finished recording their debut 6 song E.P. entitled, "We Are Everywhere!", with John Naclerio at Nada Recording Studios (brand new, my chemical romance) in New Windsor, New York. We Are Everywhere! will be released early this fall (late sept/early oct) through Run For Cover records(this is hell,sinking ships). You can hear 2 new songs from the recording on the bands my space page, and check to see when the band will be hitting a town near you.
