I think it's much longer than that. Jack is back from China, and is pretty much on his own again, a little like the start of Season 2. I have no idea how he will end up helping CTU again.

The prequel will apparently wrap up everything to do with the China storyline too. A little disappointing to have it done in 10 minutes worth of conversation, but what can you expect?

I doubt it. There's nothing for her to do now other than die, and that's a line I think the 24 writer's won't even cross.

I think I remember he had about 12 minutes of airtime during Season 5. It's a fucking travesty. And the sad thing is that in a podcast, the writer's admitted that he was supposed to have a bigger storyline. He was supposed to join Jack in finding Henderson and try and get revenge for Michelle, but they said it was too hard to mix that into the current storyline. Seriously, how dis-respectful can you get? And no fucking silent clock, yet Edgar got one for falling on his ass like everyone else in the room around him.

That being said, I think Palmer was remembered well throughout the season. His assassination is pretty much the plot to the season, and his name crops up a lot, either through characters or news montages, or even the service in the last episode.

season 5 dvd will have a 15 minute prequel to season 6. i dont know if you saw the prequel to season 5 but it was awesome, there was a sweet car chase. i heard a rumor that the prequel will explain how jack gets a deal to get back in the US. i also heard that the movie will be about how he gets back, my money is on the prequel being about how he gets back, but is hands down the best reason to buy the dvd(or rent the discs from netflix)

all i know is that the guy who plays Wayne has been talking about it a lot in interviews, i heard about it on a podcast. i do believe that Logan will be in season 6. probably only for one episode with a "jack needs to go to him to get information" kinda deal. and i also recently heard that season 6 will make a big political statement. also..the season will be more about dealing with something bad that already happend, rather than trying to stop it. kinda like the season starting with the big train accident but on a much larger scale.

I've decided that this season might deliver. From that trailer here's what I think will happen:

• Jack will sacrifice himself to the terrorist group, probably the same group who appeared in Season 4 since Graham was involved in those day's events, and he will appear this season as well
• It's never mentioned in voice that Jack must die, so I highly doubt he will die
• I expect the attacks we see in the trailer will happen in the first 2 episodes, maybe just the first. Jack will probably be brought in in response to them, maybe terrorist demands

That's just what I think anyway. You can never judge a season of 24 on the trailer. Remember last season when everyone thought Jack was going to be on the run for most of it, and he ended up being a fugitive for like 3 hours.
