I got the audio from it a little while ago and listened to it. I thought it was pretty weak. I think I maybe "kind of laughed" a couple times during the whole thing.

I hate being one of those people who stops liking someone when they get insanely popular, but I can't help it in this case. His new material is just not as good. And multiply weaker material times countless people repeating it ad nauseum, and it just gets worse. It's not a problem with his popularity itself, since I like a lot of hugely popular standup acts. I don't know, maybe he was just funnier in much smaller doses.

I concur and I find almost anything funny. I listened through all three of his cds.

i've tried numerous times to give him a try and see what the fuss is about him.

but i just can't get into anything he does. there are so many standups with better material.

i hate using this term, but overrated definitely applies here.
