It just seems like this band is coming to an end soon, all the members have other focuses like families and teaching jobs so mewithoutYou is now strictly part-time for them. I mean think about it, this has been their only tour since their summer 2009 tour with The Dear Hunter and Kay Kay.

This would literally be the perfect setlist with the addition of 4 songs: Silencer, Gentlemen, January 1979, and Nice and Blue, Pt. 2. BUT, the presence of The Cure for Pain makes up for all of that. So stoked. Haha

That is a pretty awesome setlist, I am really shocked they played The Cure For Pain. I thought they just gave up on getting any songs from A->B so its good to see I might get to hear The Cure For Pain again. Still love that they are ending the show with In A Sweater Poorly Knit, as I know they have done that the last two tours I have seen them on.

When I saw them last year with the Dear Hunter they played this (Bolded of what it appears they are also playing on this current tour)

Everything Thought of You
The Angel of Death Came to David's Room
Goodbye, I
Bullet To Binary (Pt Two)
Timothy Hay

The King and Beetle on Coconut

No, I say take out "A Stick, A Carrot and a String", put in "January 1979", "Gentlemen", and "O, Porcupine" and that would be the perfect mwY setlest...in my humble, opinion. But I'm more than satisfied by Wednesday's setlist

Mewithoutyou Salt Lake City June 5th 2010 Review

Such an amazing show! It was my 4th time seeing MewithoutYou there was probably close to 150-200 people at the venue. I had a chance to meet Aaron before the show and he was great to talk to and also signed my CD, he never just signs his name which is kind cool he writes a quote then puts "Your Brother." The show was so much fun, and the fact that they played Silencer from A -->B shocked everyone especially me since Silencer is my favorite song from that album and I haven't seem them play it since 2004. The best songs of the night that everyone in the crowd really got into were January 1979, In A Sweater Poorly Knit, Silencer, Messes Of Men and Allah, Allah, Allah. The show ended the same way I have seen for the past 3 shows with In A Sweater Poorly Knit, however towards the end of song about 30 people rushed the stage so we were all dancing and the outro to the song went almost 3 minutes longer and they kept playing it in a faster tone.

Overall for mewithoutyou fans you already know you are going to love the show, for people who haven't seen them they put on such a fantastic show it is worth the price of the ticket.

(Also they had 6 shirts for Sale, 5 of them aren't shown on there webstite and our brand new. I bought 4 shirts if anyone wants me to take some pictures of the shirts, let me know)
