i've heard Audition and Ichi The Killer are both extremely violent, but good, i need to see them

Ichi is one of the most violent films ever made and Audition has possibly the single most disturbing 20 minutes of any film.

how does he kill them? all i see is that there's tons of blood flying out the door and then intestines on the floor. definitely a lot of blood though.

Eh. that wasn't bad. It also helps to have grown up with a family that hunts. I'm used to seeing animls gutted and killed.
Plus the scene in Cache with the chicken kind of prepared me for the turtle moving

But that is pretty crazy it was real from a film standpoint. The people in PETA would flip if something like that happened in film today.

You're original statement was that the last 20 minutes are the only part worth watching and that is in fact false. Watched out of context it has 1/35 of the impact it does when watched in full.

Miike's film was gorgeous.
If you are talking about Cut, I wasn't that impressed with it either. Dumplings was by far the standout.

some of the angles and stuff were awesome but i dunno... i think watching asian films and and not knowing the language really takes away from them
